Staples — Attraction in Lynchburg

My PINK business cards and banners for my business grand opening came out BROWN. I literally left the store in tears, as there was no time to fix this issue. The print associate told me the print machine was running with known issues. Stop accepting orders if you know there are issues! One box was brown and one was a pink brown. She told me I should ask for my money back, so I am going to but I haven't had time... because I am busy running a new business ( Hello Hope Medical Weight Loss www.hellohope.us ).

Review edit- I have increased the stars rating from 1 star to 3 stars because I called the corporate # and they refunded my order, and the phone associate was very understanding. I appreciate that they did that and owned up to the mistake of the local store.

Review edit- the manager of the local store contacted me and they redid the order at an offsite location. I really do appreciate this, but wish it was right the first time around for the Grand Opening. The pink came out pink this time on both the business cards and the banners! Having them side by side, it's so easy to see the difference. I even commented on this when picking up from the store- and this associate asked if I had the first batch printed in store.

If you need something that is kinda close to the color but need it fast, the same day printing would be ok.

If you really need the color to be correct and using Staples, I would print offsite and select pick up at store- which means not using the same day...

All their notebooks are tacky and overpriced. I was disappointed because I came to the store with a bunch of stuff in mind I wanted to buy and couldn't find anything close to what I was looking for.

HOWEVER, I absolutely love and admire their care package charity idea they send out to local schools. You can contribute by buying a $5 care package and I think it's a wonderful and noble cause! It's very transparent too because they have these prepackaged supplies, so you can actually feel the paper bags and be sure it has in it what is listed on the front. They have a whole bunch of these paper bags, so you know every single one someone purchases will go to a local school.

The cashier was super nice, and I got a bunch of coupons.

So overall, I would not recommend their products. I would look somewhere else, possibly even online, but their service and social efforts are...

I placed an order for a chair and was told that the order would be shipped directly to me in 2 days. I got the shipping information for the currier the next day, and on the day of delivery got an update (at 11:30pm) that the truck had broken down. The next day i got an update that they were unable to deliver the package by 5pm. The next day the same thing. The next day the same thing. I used the chat on the website to go ahead and cancel the order because no one could locate the package, and now I'm being told they'll mail me a check for the refund in a couple weeks rather than issue a refund to my card. Now I'm out the $300 for the chair and have to wait 3 weeks from when i needed it to get a replacement for my old one. The customer service over the phone and through chat was useless. Will not be shopping with...
