11 Highland Ave., Malden, MA 02148, USA is the address of Dollar Tree. Most things in Dollar Tree stores cost one dollar each. The Malden, Massachusetts, Dollar Tree may carry party supplies, food, home items, and more. The chain of cheap stores Dollar Tree offers a large selection of goods. They have food, toys, and household goods, you name it. The following are just a few of the numerous items that Dollar Tree offers: A wide range of goods are sold in the American multinational discount retail chain Dollar Tree. The corporation has more than 14,000 locations across Canada and the 48 contiguous states. Usually found in low-income neighborhoods, Dollar Tree businesses stock a large range of goods, such as presents, groceries, household goods, toys, and cosmetics. The secret to the company's success is its low-cost business approach, which enables it to sell goods for a fraction of what typical retail establishments charge. The quality of the goods sold at Dollar Tree stores has drawn criticism because they are frequently made of inferior materials and may not last as long as goods from other retailers. The business has also come under fire for what are perceived to be exploitative labor practices. Many customers still find Dollar Tree to be a popular place to shop in spite of these criticisms. Several complaints have been filed against Dollar Tree, one of which claims the corporation discriminates against its workers based on their color. Given that many of Dollar Tree's items are made of non-recyclable materials, the company has also come under fire for its effects on the environment. With a projected net income of \$1.1 billion in 2021, Dollar Tree is still a lucrative business in spite of these difficulties. The company's devoted clientele is probably partly to blame for its success. The majority of Dollar Tree customers are bargain hunters who are price conscious. Additionally, Dollar Tree is able to maintain low prices because it sources its goods from nations with cheap labor costs. The company's capacity to enlarge its clientele and keep providing will probably be a determining factor in its future development. Read moreBefore I begin, let me say that I write this review with full understanding that the Dollar Tree isn’t the fanciest of retail store outlets. I’m not a germaphobe, nor am I obsessed with cleanliness, especially while shopping at ANY discount retail chain.
But the lavatory at this particular Dollar Tree in Malden was the most filthy, disgusting public bathroom I’ve ever witnessed. Trash was overflowing from the overfilled plastic bin and spilling onto the floor. The toilet area was strewn with debris, including no less than 7 EMPTY paper towel rolls. Aside the toilet were two ominous looking black buckets - one was dirty and empty, but the other bucket was half full of slimy standing water, with trash floating in it! The sink area was equally squalid, with large stains on the walls, a rusty dripping faucet, and an empty paper towel dispenser.
And this isn’t a case of the store being too busy for one day and someone forgetting to restock. This type of ‘dirty’ is foul, grimy, and nasty - gradually accumulated from carelessness and neglect for a long time.
Whomever manages this location should be ashamed for allowing the bathroom to get this trashed. And not only for allowing the public to see it, but for making Dollar Tree employees work in such a nasty environment. The final kicker? The bathroom is located at the end of the cleaning supply aisle - literally hundreds of cleaning products a few feet away from the world’s most disgusting lavatory ever. Really...
Read moreI'm only giving 2 stars because of the prices, but the staff is so rude that the roles are reversed! Apparently they think just cause the prices are cheap, IT IS OKAY to have zero customer service and professionalism! Cashiers are almost always distracted and talking and fighting while ringing you up which causes them to make mistakes. Then they spend 5 minutes trying to figure out what they did wrong and at the end not even a word of apology. Apparently this is all justified and okay because the prices are cheap! Unfortunately this place is literally 5 minutes from my house but I HATE going here because of how rude they are, so I minimize going here unless I really cannot travel...
