Ho Win Palace — Restaurant in Medford

went tonight, food was very good but service was slow, which was understandable considering they recently opened. however, when i got up and went to the ladies room, i ended up getting stuck in the stall. the lock was jammed. i tried getting it to turn for 10 minutes then ended up having to crawl underneath the door across the floor, which was covered in crumbs and dirt. i told the manager on the way back to our table, and he didn't really say sorry or anything. no one came over to our table to ask about it. would've been nice if we got a portion of our checked comped or something. coming from someone who worked in the industry for a long time, i think they should've actually handled the situation. pretty...

Randomly pulled up here for some food with a few people on a Saturday night, it was a packed house, we waited less than 5 minutes to be seated and our servers were extremely quick to our table. We ordered a little bit of everything and not a single item was bad. Everything was very very delicious. Everything kinda had it's little original sping on it from the crab Rangoon to the Shirley Temple's they definitely did something right, nothing tasted just like "the other places" had us guessing what exactly they did different lol I'm not gonna lie everything was a hit with everyone in our group. I wanted to like this place. The old Tiki Island was great and a staple for decades in my hometown. I came on February 2nd. Midday lunch, for a small family event. Food was either hit or miss. Chicken fingers, fried shrimp, wings - all under or overcooked. Lo mein was good, rice was good, beef teriyaki was probably the best item. It was dirty inside the whole place. Workers standing by the back door smoking.

A server was in the restroom as I changed my son on the changing table (mame sure to clean it good before use, it was filthy) and she flushed the toilet then walked out of the stall and restroom not even washing her hands... it was nasty!

Only positive was seeing family...
