Eagle Lodge — Attraction in Mammoth Lakes

Review for the Mammoth Eagle Lodge Ski School: I highly recommend the Eagle Lodge ski school. The staff there is fantastic! My family (wife, teenager skiing, and teenager boarding) and I all took classes just a couple weeks ago. The Ski School team did a great job separating the learners into groups of similar skill and putting the right instructors with the right level groups. I prefer to challenge myself on more advanced slopes/conditions (steeps and moguls) and so I was paired one on one with a instructor. My wife and daughter were placed in a group of four skiers and my son was one on one with a boarding instructor. We all had great experiences, and personally, I feel like I had the best ski instructor (Suzanne N.) who was super patient and full of great information. She analyzed my technique and was able to give me very specific advice on what I needed to do to improve. By the end of the lesson i was definitely more in control and having more fun skiing! We'll definitely be taking more classes from the Eagle Lodge Ski...

A nice Lodge (Actually Summit Lodge) with nice condo units only a 3-minute walk to the lift, but not ski in/out as listing indicates. Quite roomy, for two people at least. The units are older, and you can hear people upstairs from your unit walking around and doing whatever with ease. Could hardly sleep our second night as a result. Not Natalie's fault, just poor construction. Units are in need of maintenance and maybe even upgrade and the outdoor maintenance is lacking with wide ice areas fully across getting in and out of anywhere and treacherous when one is wearing ski boots. I know this is the HOA responsibility, but still not acceptable. Mammoth Mountain ski area is a beautiful area though, which compensates for a lot.

We had the best experience with the most helpful staff over presidents day weekend 2023. My son's brand new ski broke on his 2nd run down Eagle. We brought it into the ski rental/repair shop. Martin helped us and literally had my son (who thought his day was over) smiling and laughing within minutes. He could not have been more helpful and caring. Martin and Joshy made sure we were taken care of and honestly set a wonderful example to our 2 young sons on what excellent customer service looks like. We left the lodge knowing we had found the Mammoth A team....
