Beautiful place all year round. Well maintained. It is the mouth of all the activities. Tamarack Nordic skiing starts here with a walking/hike/your trail on the left of the groomed Nordic trail in winter. This is also a starting point for numerous back country ascents. parking for all at the gate and down. Parking for tamarack customers by the yurt. Dogs on leash please :). Beautiful area to take photos! There is a running body of water under the bridge and a small parking lot roughly 1500sqft fitting no more than 20 cars, but this locations is great for photos, or a start to a hike not recommended to stay and bbq and settle in if that's what you're looking for.
