Twin Lakes in Mammoth Mountain is an absolute gem! The hiking here is wonderful, with peaceful vibes and breathtaking scenic views all around. It's the perfect place to relax yourself in nature and enjoy the beauty of the area.

The fishing at Twin Lakes is also fantastic. There's something special about casting your line into the waters, surrounded by such stunning scenery. Whether you're an experienced angler or just out for some leisurely fishing, the thrill of the catch. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind, connect with the outdoors, and maybe reel in a...

Beautiful place all year round. Well maintained. It is the mouth of all the activities. Tamarack Nordic skiing starts here with a walking/hike/your trail on the left of the groomed Nordic trail in winter. This is also a starting point for numerous back country ascents. parking for all at the gate and down. Parking for tamarack customers by the yurt. Dogs on leash please :). In summer it is the starting point to many lakes, trail heads, marinas and camp grounds. Fishing - yes, camping with reservation -yes, paddle boarding -yes,...

Beautiful area to take photos! There is a running body of water under the bridge and a small parking lot roughly 1500sqft fitting no more than 20 cars, but this locations is great for photos, or a start to a hike not recommended to stay and bbq and settle in if that's what you're looking for. My son enjoyed the quick break from the drive, recommended for any or all passer by/tourists. We went to Lake Mary and enjoyed catching a good amount of trout! I recommend that...

Tons of snow still in early June this year! The waterfall was gushing, but we still got beautiful mirror views of the lake. We came to this spot a few times during our stay in Mammoth and it always had plenty of parking spots. There is a coyote that hangs around here looking for food, so be aware of that if you have small kids or pets with you (PLEASE do not feed wildlife, I saw a couple different people feed it).

Great spot for nice views of the lake and the bridge a bit in the distance. I personally like better the bridge for pictures of the lake and the reflection of the mountains. Nevertheless here you can get nice colors in fall and with good lighting some nice pictures can be taken for here. There is a relatively high parking lot and a small path if you prefer to walk along the lakes.
