Forest Chapel at Twin Lakes is probably Mammoth's original wedding venue and it's also probably the most popular/most used. I've photographed countless weddings there and it never fails to be the quintessential California mountain ceremony site. Guests walk across a bridge (spanning Twin Lakes) and through the forest to get to the venue. The seats are tree trunks cut in half. You'll occasionally see bears wandering along the lake in the background--it's a classic spot and I love shooting there. Most people hold the ceremony there, then shuttle to either the gondola for a McCoy Station reception, or go down to Camp High Sierra or The Mill.
