Nice wild beach that's part of the huge protected nature reserve Hacienda La Esperanza. Easy hike to get there if gates are closed. Not a great swimming beach and there was some current the day we were there, but the natural beauty and other fun things like snorkeling or shelling make up for it. You can hike to other beaches in either direction, too.

Such a beautiful and peaceful set of reef protected beaches. You may have to park and walk in for half a mile or a full mile for the farthest cove. Best at low tide when large tidal pools make snorkeling great for all ages.

This is a great area with two protected beaches that have easy snorkeling. The road is gated at night and out of season, but there is parking up top and an easy hike down to the beach. The trees are...
