Read moreThe river flows here create a great spring, summer, and fall experience. Float down in tube's, rafts, canoes, or kayaks. Caution should be used as it is a river and not an amusement park. Lifejackets should be required items for entering the water. Many whitewater kayakers use the river, if you want to know more about whitewater kayaking stop by and ask. Changing rooms / bathrooms located at the shelter. Air compressor for blowing up inner tube's or floating devices. This is all open in spring summer and fall. Nice walking path from start to finish. Swing benches at the top of the river. Would love to organize to clean up the other side of the river for a more sightly view when using the benches. My daughters use the river to get use to moving current and actually learned to swim here. Be aware of the river and conditions as they change...

Next time we will be better prepared. We live an hour away but this would be worth coming for for a few hours just to 'get away...
