Great, laid-back buying experience!! The store is run by an older gentleman, and he is usually the one who is there to help you. He is polite, knowledgeable and not pushy, he shows you the options and is there to answer any questions but doesn't hover. I was hesitant about what I wanted for new living room furniture so I was looking at a lot of a different places, and I came in several times to look at a chair. I ended up buying it because it was almost half of what other places had the same thing for due to a sale, and they were just so nice! The chair arrived when they said it would and they delivered free of charge. They also sent me a nice note a few weeks later to make sure all was okay and to thank me for my business. Just a good little small-town business! Will definitely go...

Love Corcoran Furniture. We buy all our main pieces here, couches, recliners, mattresses etc. Prices are great especially when you figure in it's always free delivery for us being local. Always a great experience shopping there, everyone who works there has been professional, friendly and not afraid to have a little banter for fun! Extremely fast and free delivery and removal of what you are replacing, and the guys who deliver are lovely too. We've had one issue so far with a recliner, one quick call and they had it in the works to have it fixed, after it was picked up it was dropped back off in less than 24 hours! No...

Jim helped us furnish an entire house. We get a TON of compliments on it. Every time we are truthful and give full credit to Jim. His decades of experience with furniture really came through. Corcoran Furniture is what is great about small-town Iowa. Do yourself a favor and go.

PS. The single 1-star review (hopefully deleted by now) is from a guy that seems to be married to an employee / owner (?) at a competing store. (I googled it because I couldn't imagine a single person on this earth thinking Jim Corcoran deserved 1-star. ...
