Mansfield Township Community Park — Attraction in Mansfield Township

Horrible fields to play softball. The bathrooms are disgusting. The township takes money from tournament directors to use the fields and restrooms. They don't spend any time actually making the fields playable. It's like playing in a sandbox. Why can't someone from the township actually go in and really deep clean this nasty smelly bathrooms. I never leave reviews like this for a park but this township does nothing. There was one guy trying to keep up with lining and raking for 3 fields. Repair the deep holes at home plate and pitcher plates before someone gets hurt. These are some of the worst fields I've seen while traveling for...

It's a nice out and back paved trail that runs along farm land, through woods, through freshwater wetlands and back next to farmlands. Total miles 4.3. There's a playground, basketball court, baseball field and public restrooms ( bring tissues the tp isn't always full). Walk, run, ride a bike or push a stroller on this path and be sure to stop and look at the water under the bridges, just because water is relaxing to watch! The entrance needs work so swing wide going in and the sign is small so you'll probably pass it the first time and then watch where you're going on the gravel parking lot because there's holes here and there. First time going to the Mansfield park lighting and it was great. Big toasty bonfire, free cookies and hot chocolate, a lengthy, enjoyable hayride through town, live performance of Christmas music by the local school, and even a nice setup with Santa for you to take your own pictures. You can tell this event is run by dedicated volunteers, who really put a lot of energy and effort into it. I was especially impressed by the participation of the local fire department, who tended and supervised the fire, directed traffic throughout town and were just pitching in where needed....
