Love the Marin headlands and this is a great side excursion when in the area. Every 1st or 2nd Saturday of the month volunteers open the missile silos in the area and provide a detailed history lesson.

It's pretty ironic that all cell phones today have more technology than old military structures like this.

From the lighthouse parking lot, it is not a long walk to reach this historical spot. Used to be an important place for this area, now ..... But the view here is nice. Worth the walk to be here. Prepare...

hard to get to - by car only, requires a winding drive, then a short walk down quite a ways; not that great of a place for the driving, but it's okay I guess. The stairs are not the core problem,...
