Presque Isle Park - Bog Walk — Attraction in Marquette

If you want to get closer to nature its a great way to do it. There are many trails; some are marked some aren't. If your a fan of wild life the deer on the island always seem to pop up in random spots. The deer also tend to be in a group by the new pavilion! There's a certain mystique to bogs, with their unique make up and wildlife, and this is no different. We saw a few interesting birds, as well as evidence of beavers and muskrats. There are some benches and information signs around the walk, and at the far end there's access to a little beach with some interesting rocks. Great walk. The trail gets a little obscured and over grown, but is still a great walk and feels like wandering out off trail. Lots of different flowers and dragonflies. Saw a lot of frogs as well.
