Contra Costa Cinema — Attraction in Martinez

Visited this theater for the first time on 8/5/18 and happito have lost my wallet, When i return almost two hours after, I spoke to a young Lady who said she was the manager. She looked in the Managers office where all lost and found items are left after i described the wallet with my cards,id and other documents. The wallet had not been turned in and it was a whole new shift of employees working. As her and i were gathering information in case it turned out she happened to ask an employee who what looked like was leaving, at first he acted odd about then said oh yeah a small one. Once i said the color, I was happy thanked them both. The odd part was the the employee had NOT turned in the wallet 2 1/2 hours after finding it and as i got hope i noticed one of my Cards were missing. According to him he found it wedged between the seat. Therefore he had been the only person in contact with the wallet and the contents. Could he had taken the card since it wasn't a major credit. But an EDD card? He didn't follow protocol of turning it in. I can only blame HIM for it. This is why i they...

Edit: So we decided to rent the theatre for the bday party and honestly it was such a a unique idea, and everyone loved it. I added stars to my review because they redeemed themselves for the most part- there was an issue with the movie at first and some of the guest trays were missing their candy. I do like that it's not nearly as crowded as anywhere else.

My family comes from out of town as this has been our favorite theatre, and were thinking about renting a screen for our sons birthday next month.

I know you can't bring outside stuff in so I left his sippy at home. I ask for a small cup with a lid so he doesn't spill his water, and the clerk at the snacks said no and handed me a tiny cup. I bought large everything so I could give him a little at a time- or it would all be spilled everywhere, and told her he can't drink from a cup he's literally 1. And since he's only 1 and it's just the two of us, I bought myself a large drink so it's CLEAR I am not trying to steal SODA for my baby. Very disappointed in spending 40 bucks and can't even get a water...

I love this movie 🎥 🍿 🍬 🍫🍧🍷 theater. Right off the freeway one block away. Parking not bad during the day but better at late afternoon or night. Because the county building is closed at night thats who they share their parking lot with. They sell 🍿pop corn fountain drinks you serve yourself, Slurpee‘s, wine 🍷, gelatos, ice cream 🍧, snacks, and food. My son and I went to see the Ninja Turtles and we totally enjoy ourselves. The theatre and the seats look clean. They are comfy they recline buy pressing a big button 🔵 that has a blue light on it. Also they have $5 Tuesdays for any movie you pick all day and night. Heads up, if you go on $5 Tuesdays buy your tickets and pick your seats ahead of time on their website, because it does sale out fast. The bathrooms are kind of small but not bad.
