Carolina Furniture Co — Attraction in Martins Ferry

I cannot say enough good things about Carolina Furniture! I had a very specific idea in mind of the living room furniture I wanted, and they were the only store that had exactly what I was looking for. By far the biggest selection of any store that I looked at. Once I found the couch I liked, I was able to pick from a huge selection of colors and fabrics. I was even able to choose from a huge selection of fabrics for pillows to match! While the huge selection was nice, it was also a bit overwhelming, and Bill was absolutely incredible in helping me narrow it down! He was super friendly and helpful but not pushy at all. He gave his honest opinion when asked, but didn’t pressure me into getting anything extra that I didn’t want or need. Once I placed my order, it took about 10 weeks to arrive at my house, but only a matter of days for it to get from him to me. I was so eager to get my furniture that I called numerous times asking for him to check the status of my order, and he was always more than willing to help. He never once made me feel like a bother even though I probably was. The delivery guys were great too. I requested that they call 30 minutes before arriving so I could have time to get home, and they did just that. Once arriving, they were personable, efficient, and thorough in explaining the fabric care instructions. Overall, it was such a smooth process, and I absolutely love how my furniture turned out! I have been purchasing furniture from Carolina Furniture since 1985 when I was 17 years old. Bought my parents recliners for Christmas (it was my first job and I wanted to buy they something nice). Ever since then when I think of going furniture shopping I always think of Bill first. He and his coworkers make buying furniture so easy. He really goes beyond to make sure you pick out something you will be happy with. The quality of service and products are top notch. Their selection are great and even if you don’t like the fabric or color they have a wall full of options. We just had a new loveseat delivered today. While we have had a couple problems with the furniture. The owner made sure the problems were fixed fast and efficiently!

I take back my previous review:

“Do not buy from. While their selection is nice, they give false promises on their warranty. We were told anything that happened inside the first 12 months would be replaced, unless we "took a knife to it." Needless to say after 7 months two very small tears came about in cushion of our 3,000 dollar set of furniture. They refused to repair stating that they could only get us in touch with a third party company. (meaning we would have to pay) The manager was rude on the phone and tried to belittle me. I would just do yourself a favor and not buy from them.
