Small community park with nice amenities for casual use. Seems like it would be a great little place to throw down a blanket and break out a picnic basket and then take a little stroll to the other side where there is an amphitheatre. If the amphitheater is for performances, it would be nice to see a schedule. It is a great use of left over land between train tracks and the main road. The park is really quiet with the exception of the occasional train on weekends and Harley Davidson riders who drive-by in groups.

A great park for nature-lovers, train-watchers, and walkers alike. It abuts the MARC/Amtrak rails and is right next to the C&O Canal path, this little park has many interpretive signs. A permanent corn hole game setup (bring bags), and a couple pavilions and benches. An obelisk marks where the high waters have been, quite stunning. Free, convenient off Catoctin Mountain Highway, and well-worth a stop in if nothing else. Cheers.

Very, Very, Very nice Park!!! Plenty of parking and access to the Potomac River. Across the street is the Deli on the Rocks.. Don't miss the historic Point of Rocks Train Station...

A nice little park for those who just want to stroll a short distance. It is the gateway to much more nearby. The Potomac River. The C&O Canal Trail. The Marc Commuter Station. CSX Railroad if you are into train watching. Just a nice area for the family. Just STAY OFF THE...
