Calico Rocks Campsite — Hotel in Lovettsville

Nice campsite with the typical C&O canal Porta-Potty and pump along with a picnic table and two rough cut wooden benches. The problem is that it is only a thousand feet from the closest parking lot a lot of partying seems to happen there people do not clean up after themselves we packed out two bags of trash. The CSX and Amtrak rail line is less than 200 feet away the trains run all night. There is multiple trains an hour sometimes,and lots of horn blowing. Slept here on a tour of the C&O Canal in 2016. The site is like most others on the C&O with a Porta Potty, water pump, picnic table, and fire ring.
