5* location 5* nature beauty #noaccessibility #nolifeguard

It is a wilde style beach & kitesurfing spot, so dont expect any infrastructure here. There is only a long fabulous beach line, some rocks closer to the city and lots of huge turtles 🐢 in the water when you kitesurf, which is fantastic. Along the beach there are palms 🌴, so you can hide your equipment & yourself from the sun. There are two parking lots: one is with asphalt for about 20 cars and another one closer to the city is quite spontaneous one along the road that leads to the beach and its totally sandy, under the trees in some parts, for about 10 cars. There is a lifeguard house on the beach, but i never saw anybody there 🤔 No currents here and no sharks, so no extra risque to stay in the waters. The windsurfers normally ride on the right side of the beach and farer from the land line, kitesurfers - on the left side, closer to the beach...

Kanaha Beach is a laid-back local favorite, perfect for windsurfing, kitesurfing, and spotting sea turtles. The steady breeze makes it ideal for water sports, while shaded picnic areas provide a great spot to relax. Parking is easy, and lifeguards are on duty, though restrooms could use better upkeep. Its proximity a 5 minute drive to the airport makes it a convenient last stop before a flight. The water can be a bit murky at times, but it’s still a great place for a swim or a quiet beach walk away...

This beach was pretty amazing. Windsurfers were a sight to behold and the beach was perfect for the kids to play in the surf. Turtles swimming around easy to spot from the shore. Low visibility in the water due to wave action.

The only thing that detracted from the experience was the local kids that thought it was hilarious to hide in the bushes and shoot at us with their little gel ball...

My wife and I came to Kanaha Beach before turning in our rental car. It was early in the morning and the only people moving about were grounds people. The view across the bay is quite spectacular and the beach inviting to walk on. It's the first time I've been here and the wind was relatively calm.

Nice small beach with small areas of sand. Pretty rough. Good for all the windsurfers out there. Saw a turtle! Parking was limited. And restrooms available, but not very well kept.
