My cousin told me of this market a few weeks ago when I asked her where in the world she found a specific veggie I've been searching high and low for.
ATMOSPHERE: The market is located in the L-shaped industrial building that houses Maui Specialty Chocolates and other businesses. Parking was plentiful. The inside is a no-frills warehouse space and isn't air conditioned.
MERCHANDISE: The majority of the goods are Filipino-based, but they also sell a few Japanese and Hispanic items as well. But what I came for was the fresh produce and found what I was looking for. What was it? I am not telling but I found it! It's really a farmer's market so the produce was affordable and fresh.
SERVICE: Cashier service was quick and mainstream.
TIP: No AMEX or personal checks accepted.
