KFC — Restaurant in Hawaii

Really the biggest draw for KFC has always been the mashed potatoes. There's no other fast food place that offers mashed potatoes of the same smooth consistency with some pretty tasty gravy to boot. Their chicken is, ironically, mediocre at best. For me, the chicken is the side and not the main course whenever I eat at KFC.

In regards to the restaurant itself, it is in need of maintenance for sure. There was trash scattered all over the restaurant on arrival and one of the supports for the stained glass dividers is bent and disconnected from the glass piece itself.

Under normal circumstances, I try to do a review of a dine-in experience at fast food restaurants, but the option to eat in was never presented and I was handed a take-out bag. Perhaps for the best considering the corn strewn across the floor.

The state of disrepair the restaurant was in combined with their limited payment options (they do not take Amex and sometimes they take Discover while other times they don't), doesn't put this place very high up on my list of places to consider eating at and the high price point for what you end up actually getting cements the 2-star...

You can't even take a simple order? Multiple times this has happened!!! Very embarrassing for KFC Kahului.

My wife ordered a 3 piece and a four piece chicken tenders meals with coleslaw and mashed potatoes for both in the drive through tonight. Obviously, you drive away and think all is good with your order. You gave her a 3 piece meal for both orders and French fries instead of mash potato. How difficult is it with you getting the right order in the box? should we call the general that owns the location to place the right order in the box?

If you can get a straight order fullfilled at your Kahului location, then you shouldn't work there and get someone that is competent. I have seen this issue multiple times and that is why I am posting this. Enough is enough with your lack of customer service.

This place is a dump. Owner does take care of the air-condition. You walk in to the store and is 90 degree. Time to call OSHA. Place is so hot for employee to work in.

One small coleslaw costs $4.50....

This is not a regular KFC. This chicken has zero flavor. The original recipe crust is paper thin. The chicken pieces are smaller than on the mainland and a 2 piece is $9.00. a bucket will cost you $24.00 even the sauces like the buffalo and Kansas heat are lame. No specials or coupons accepted here. I would not advise y'all eating here unless your desperate. I don't think this restaurant follows KFC quality rules. Extra crispy also has very little flavor. Chicken sandwiches aren't like Popeyes At all. I think the owner is trying to save money by being so skimpy on the breading of the chicken. I can't help but wonder how they get it so flavorless. I live here on Maui and will never eat here again. Terrible, just terrible. By the way I used to work at KFC as a cook for 3 years so I know something...
