The Twin Falls hike in Maui, Hawaii, is an excellent option for anyone looking for a beautiful and adventurous experience. Despite the $10 price tag and long wait for parking, this hike offers some of the most picturesque scenery on the island.

The trail itself is well-maintained, and the signs along the way make it easy to follow. The path is relatively easy, and even those without hiking experience can complete the trek without too much difficulty. The hike features several waterfalls and swimming holes, making it a great option for families with children. The cool, clear water of the falls is refreshing and provides a much-needed break from the heat of the Hawaiian sun.

One of the most impressive aspects of the hike is the lush greenery that surrounds the trail. The dense vegetation creates a serene environment that is both calming and rejuvenating. The variety of plants and trees on the trail are a feast for the senses, providing a unique opportunity to explore Hawaii's natural beauty up close.

In terms of logistics, the hike can be crowded, and parking can be a bit of a hassle. However, once you're on the trail, the crowds thin out, and it's easy to find a private spot to relax and take in the stunning scenery.

Overall, the Twin Falls hike is an excellent choice for anyone looking to explore the natural beauty of Hawaii. The $10 price tag is a small price to pay for the breathtaking views and refreshing swimming holes. While the wait for parking can be frustrating, it's well worth it once you're on the trail. I highly recommend this hike to anyone visiting Maui and looking for an...

Very disappointing. Pros- People with motion sickness or who do not want to go on RTH can easily visit this place.

Now the bad part- $10 parking is fine. If you charge money, then you need manage people as well. There were so many people sitting in the shade smoking weed, and few others that were vaping, then there was local couple with black tattoo all over her face that turned on untasteful music and it was blasting loud. Their two dogs were going crazy in the water, and guy was smoking right next to children. This couple may be there often but for most people it is once in a life time thing, and they completely ruined it. I spoke to the parking attendant, then the manager came and talked to them and the music was still blasting while she was just chatting with them, and they were back to smoking once she left.

One other person spoke to the parking attendant and nothing happened. I had to sit there for 2 hours listening to the blasting music, getting a headache and I left. I could not hear the water with the music going the whole time. You should not be charging money, if you cannot manage low class people ruining your...

Love Twin Falls Hikes! Great place to make a pit stop from on your way to Hana town along Hana Highway. Very busy in the mornings with the Tourist traffic to Hana Town every morning. ease be patient driving in and out and along the highway to find parking. Please be respectful and please walk with respect.

Beautiful botanical gardens, nice rivers and beautiful waterfalls, depending if there has lots of water or not from the rains. If so, please be careful, slippery areas and slippery mossy rocks.

Great, easy hike , could go maybe a half mile to a mile, depending on how much time you want to stop by and explore.

I definitely recommend stopping by the Smoothie bus/food truck at the entrance, either at the start or as you leave. Please pick up after yourselves and help maintain Twin Falls beauty.

They have great smoothies, great Banana Bread, coconuts, Sugar Stalks, and even cold sugar stalk...

Perfect spot before road to Hana! We traveled with kids so figured this was a good spot. The parking wasn't bad, plenty of street parking as the lot itself is really small. Just don't leave any valuables it looks or items that may look like they contain valuables, as we saw broken glass by street parking. Shortly after you start the hike, there's the first fall. This one is smaller and but a easy to get to especially if you have kids. Continue further down the trail and you'll reach the more popular second fall. The water is cool but considering hot humid temps, it felt great! After your hike, there's a snack truck parked right by the entrance. We had fresh coconut, but the water was not sweet and banana bread a bit starchy. Tip: beware of the porta-potties, they are disgusting!
