We were a bit disappointed. It’s a „beach“ with lots of black stones and some black sand. But, at least when we visited it, the sand wasn’t that spectacular. Stayed there for like 15 minutes and then continued our journey. If you‘re driving the road to Hana you can makes quick stop but I wouldn’t go there just because of this beach.

We took the legal way up to haiku. 5hrs up and 3hrs down (we rushed down as it was already 3:30pm when we arrived at the top). Definitely the most remarkable day of our trip. The view on the way was mesmerizing. Yes it was very tiring and quite challenging if you are not an experienced hiker. But it was all worth it. We wore crampons and were so...
