The banana bread was terrible here. I'm a foodie and the bread was too dry and not fresh. $6 banana bread is ridiculously overpriced for something that is so small too. Do not buy the banana bread. To be fair their other stuff may be good, but I would buy banana bread from another vendor. There are so many stops along the way of Road to Hana you'll have plenty of chances. This place just benefits from being the first popular tourist stop. At least be prepared to just eat it on the spot and if you don't like it get something else. I made the mistake of eating it on the road once I left and didn't want to go through the trouble of turning back around.

I was looking forward to going into the Twin Falls but it was raining the day before so mud water got into the stream so I couldn't go in. So look out for the...

The road out of Hana, and a hungry, pregnant wife in the passenger seat...plus a grouchy toddler. Then, came the outrageous, insane request for pizza. Dread devoured me, burning through my guts. It's a long way home, baby, and those rumbling tummies grow more angry and dangerous by the minute. But then, a point of light, dim at first, gave way to the unmistakable odor of hippies grilling pizza in some bizare confluence of school buses, shacks, and tents. Dozens of miles from anything. Was it hallucinations? Could it really be? How is this even possible? Who knew we were coming??? And why were they selling pizza tonight, of all the nights? Then and there, I knew the gods were real, and they loved me and my family.

Best meal on Maui, no doubt in my...

A beautiful place to stop at and see the waterfalls, easy hiking to the first waterfall area. When we were there it was raining and we couldn't get closer to the second area it was closed. The booth out there has some cold pineapple in a bag probably was the best pineapple I've had lol. And the coconut drink was nice - just not cold. Thet should put them in the fridge before selling them and it'll be perfect! The girl at the desk also explained about some places around us and told us that because of the rain most of them will probably be flooded and we will have hard time to get there even of...

Very hard to miss There is plenty of parking Try to get there way early tho because it will get crowded It's a nice little waterfall I honestly regret not getting in... I didn't because it was out first stop and I didn't want to be wet so early on I was saving myself for the 7 sacred pools It turned out they were closed that day so I didn't go in any water So if you are there early and have a little time Go in We walked down the waterfall a bit also There are a bunch of bathrooms too (portable ones) And people seemed to really like what the lady at the stand was selling but we didn't try it

Honestly I don't think stopping here is a great suggestion. Every map, tourist suggestion post, or blog says stop here. I totally disagree. It had rained pretty hard early in the day so the river was raging. The falls weren't much to see due to the amount of water but not sure there's enough to see without a raging river. I was looking for falls and pools that I could swim in or at least get near. This wasn't that place. The traffic can get pretty crazy here because everyone and their brother is stopping. I say move on to better and more interactive falls farther on down the road.

Large bamboo stands. Multiple waterfalls. Nice short walk. Little stand provides fresh coconuts, smoothies, and fresh banana bread. They even have port-o-potties. Quite touristy but bring your swim suit, only about 10% of the people who go swim. It's a nice swim and hangout spot even if lots of people visit it. You park in small lots along the road. They have some theft issues, don't leave stuff in the car. Quick 1hr or 2hr experience. Pair with a few other things on the Road to Hana.
