Carbon Valley Garage — Attraction in Mead

I started binging my car back when it was Hometown Garage, however when Andrew took over the business, he was able to make it the very dependable, and trusting shop that everyone aspires to do business with! The customer service is unparalleled, and the repairs are fairly priced and DONE RIGHT the first time. Major work was done on the engine in my LS-2 powered 2006 GTO, and it has performed FLAWLESSLY! His many years of muscle/classic car restoration experience stated on the biography on the home page shows, and even though most of their repairs are fleet-oriented, they are also performance specialists, so bottom line, I would not trust anybody else working with my LS-2. Any LS-powered car belongs in this shop like Corvettes, Camaros and the likes. If I had a classic GTO, this would also be the place to bring it to. I live in Denver, but I would not let anyone else touch my car, since every repair was done properly and timely, never having to come back. I would STRONGLY recommend this shop! I've never before had service like I got today. My truck is aging (2007 F250 Super Duty Lariat) and she's been in accidents, she's been stolen (and recovered, obviously), she's hauled horses in several of the western states, her bed has been packed to the gills, she's hauled a loaded travel trailer over the Rocky Mountains. She's a trooper, and I love her (her name is Irene). She has been overdue for some general maintenance and for some other, specific things, too. I took her to Carbon Valley Garage and they are WONderful. They gave her a great check-up and let me know what needs to be done sooner rather than later, and what else needs to be done at some point. I got a point by point check list AND a video of things they found that need doing. Their prices seem reasonable, too. They even fixed the ignition switch that the thief busted when he punched it with a screwdriver FOR FREE, and as a surprise! Wow! I gotta keep Irene going because I love her! Top-Notch Service and Communication

Excellent service from start to finish. What really impressed me was how transparent they are—they send you videos and pictures showing exactly what’s going on with your car. If there’s a problem, they’ll walk you through it in a video, explaining what’s wrong and how they plan to fix it.

They do a full check—tires, oil, everything. If they find something that needs attention, they show you the evidence and leave the decision up to you. There’s no pressure at all, which I really appreciate.

They worked on my ’03 Silverado, and I was amazed—there wasn’t a single scratch or even a fingerprint around the hood or engine area. I don’t know how they pulled that off, but it shows how careful and respectful they are with your vehicle. Most places leave marks, but not these guys.

It’s clear they care about your car and your business, treating your vehicle like it’s their own. Communication was great throughout the whole process.
