Lower Forge Brewery — Attraction in Medford Township

I used to really enjoy coming here. One of my favorite spots in Medford. Today was a much different and unfortunate experience. I stood waiting at the bar to be helped, while people all around me were helped. For some reason I must have been invisible and no one could see or hear that I needed help. After the 10th time of a new person approaching the bar and me being ignored , I had to slam my wallet on the counter just to get someone’s attention. Went in today for a beer and there was a definite funky smell inside, so we decided to buy our beers and sit outside. Unfortunately the beers both had a taste that matched the funky smell inside. It's against my nature to not finish my beer, but I just couldn't. It was more than just the flavor of the hops... it was funk in a bad way. I noticed they had an air purifier behind the bar, but it wasn't helping.

A cute little place on Main Street Medford. The safe are friendly and the selection has variety. They folks care about what they are doing and making. I had never been too much of a beer person, but I found a nice Sour (is that the right term?! ha) that I would come back for.
