Visited on a Sunday afternoon at 1:30pm. . Small joint, inside, 4-2 Person tables, outside (when appropriate to dine outside) they had three 2-Person tables. . Girlfriend got a cheeseburger with fried onions and cooper sharp cheese and skin on fries. I got the cheesesteak with fried onions and cooper sharp. I asked the guy "should I get extra cheese? I like my cheesesteaks on the cheesy side", He responded "absolutely not....we make 'em cheesy. If you get extra cheese, you'll be swimming in cheese. Everyone that gets extra cheese tells me they wish they would've asked first...". So I listened, and went with the Garlic Truffle fries. . Everything was fan-freaking-tastic. That burger was delicious. It's her 2nd favorite burger in the area, behind Gaul and Company in Philadelphia. The fries were out of this world. Now she'll tell you she wishes they were cooked a bit longer, but I disagree....They were just how I like them (I prefer them barely undercooked, as opposed to overcooked). . My Cheesesteak was really good. Maybe the best in South Jersey? Nah, I liked Lillo's tomato pie #1 in Jersey still. But this was good. I think it was the bread that I am STILL not sure if I liked it or hated it. Meaning, they use bread from Boaggios Bread, which was very good. However, it's like an "everything bagel" bread. I prefer my rolls just seeded. The "everything" part, I think took away from the deliciousness of the meat and cheese. However, it was still solid....but next time, it's burger or maybe I'll try a chicken sandwich. The food was top notch. Just know, it's a small joint....

Gouldsburgers is the ideal corner-store steak shop. First I have to give a shout out to the staff, that team is an absolute unit and in the hour that I spent there on a hot, busy Friday afternoon they did not get a single chance to catch their breath. They just kept taking orders and rapidly slinging out top tier food with a smile. Now on to the food. After being recommended to me on 5 different occasions throughout the week I finally went to try the cheesesteak and fried onion rings which were toted as being some of the best around. The Steak: If you followed the hype train to Lillo's Tomato Pies for their steaks, you should follow it here too. Cooper sharp, fried onions that basically melt into the meat and thin sliced steak - these guys know what they are doing. The "Everything" roll was unique, delicious and definitely worth a try. The Onion Rings: Definitely some of the best I have had, no soggy onions that pull out of the batter, they've got just the right amount of bite and are so crispy/flaky that you will not care amount the mess you are making. With free parking right across the street, and food this good I will without a doubt I will be back to try the rest of the menu. P.S. They sell the Saratoga water that you will need for your morning routines ifykyk lol.

I was very nervous as it was late at night and food quality usually falls off in most establishments but this was not the case here. I’ve had their cheesesteaks and they are phenomenal, but this time it was vegetarian time. My wife is a vegetarian and I wanted to split one with her, so I ordered the vegetarian portobello mushroom cheesesteak. She doesn’t like slimy mushrooms so I was a bit worried but unnecessarily. She said it was very, very good. I liked it a lot as well, the bread was fresh, the mushrooms were the right size & texture, and there was perfect amount of cheese. The gentleman serving me was very nice as well. This was half of a half and was very filling, will be back for sure.

First time customer. We called to place a pickup order. First question we asked was, are the no-skin fries fresh cut fries? Girl on the phone said, yes, very confidently. We ordered a cheesesteak, fried onions on the side, kids chicken stripes, kids hamburger and no-skin fries. My husband gets to the restaurant to pick up the order and right away he was thrown off by the state of the restaurant. He even asked if they just opened because there was boxes and junk just piled around. Then they charged him for someone else’s order because they charged someone else for our order, so they were trying to make up the difference on us, trying to convince my husband he was the one making out on the deal. But, once he looked at the receipt he realized he actually ended up paying more than he should have and had to make them correct it. The no-skin fries are NOT fresh cut. All the fries, waffle fries came with the kids meals, were way over cooked!! Extra crunchy. Burger was fine. Cheesesteak was really good. Kids chicken strips were terrible. My kids spit them out. We tasted them, because what kids doesn’t like chicken strips, and the breading tasted like it should be in fish. All you could taste is lemon and old bay. Definitely, not good on chicken. The only thing that saved this order was the...
