I was repairing an iPad myself, and when I put it all together the back light for the LCD was out. Figuring that I must have damaged something I dropped it off to SpaceCoast Repair for a diagnostic. They let me know that they were busy but would get to it as soon as possible and would call me with the results. Two days past, so I thought they may just have forgotten to call. I returned to the store to discover that they had replaced the LCD. Not what I asked for as I explained, I only requested a diagnostic. The tech asked me if I wanted him to pull the LCD out, which is a silly question..but in hind sight, I should have taken him up on that. I pay 130.00 for a new LCD and installation, which on a side note, is a rip off as the iPad I gave them was already disassembled, which is 90% of the work. I take the iPad home and turn it on. Immediately I notice that the digitizer is already cracked. This happened because the digitizer was not properly seated onto the bezel, as the corner of the iPad was bent. So, no big deal, I have an extra digitizer, Ill just replace it....again..(I have fixed a few iPads as a hobby) After I remove the cracked digitizer, I am astonished to discover that the LCD they replaced was in fact the same LCD or a used one. It is scratched and has marks all over it that are incredibly similar to the previous LCD that was in there. I returned to the store to attempt to get an explanation of what work was actually accomplished, and to let them know of what I suspect to be a rip off. I didn't get anywhere of course, because they know I have no way of proving anything. A perfect situation to rip someone off...well done!
In summary, here is how SpaceCoast iRepair earned an unhappy customer..
At least for my experience, I feel that the female owner has no idea about customer service. The tech who worked on my iPad has...
Read moreI left my laptop to have the hinges replaced and screen reset. I was told at first that the repair would be done in 4 days. When I called back to ask they said they had tried to "glue" the frame/screen back together and it did not work. I was then told it would take several more days for the part to come in and it would be ready. I was glad to hear that they went ahead and ordered the necessary parts to put it back together in full functioning mode. However, when I went to pick it up, he explains that he did order the hinge but decided to try to hot glue the screen back in place and tape the back of the clamshell cover with the hinges! Awful job! There was glue on the keyboard and a glue fingerprint on the touchpad. Not good! The repairman said he could order the covering for the screen if I wanted (I thought that was what was supposed to be done in the first place). When I got home the touchscreen started popping out. The touchscreen does not function now and if I fully open the screen it goes blank. So, it's worse off now than when I brought it in. He did get the webcam working. But for holding my laptop for two weeks, there was very little to show for it. Not recommended for laptop repairs. If he couldn't fix it, I wish he would have just said so and saved his time and my money. By previous reviews I'm sure they do some things well but not this - not this time.

Where can I start?
Karen & Tracey!🫶
The Mega Stores Industry keeps choking the little ppl that are trying to keep their head above water to survive.
That is why I search for a local iRepair shop where their is attention to the customer.
Initially, I called in to verify if they had what I needed, and they not only offered me options, both affordable and better quality.
I wasn't sure if the unit was worth the money, so I wanted to let them have a look. When I got there, the vibe & energy were smooth and peaceful. Karen & Tracey were super attentive and very customer oriented on helping me make an informed decision instead of caring just to make a sale or gain my money, and I valued the service 1st and the products later. I can find products everywhere but Good Customer Service is always hard to come by...
Finally, Even though the Best choice (money-wise) was not to purchase the replacement parts, they offered to perform a temporary quick fix to hold my phone operational for a longer period, until I decide to either repair it or get a new one.
They showed selflessness and did a simple job but with care... and I felt bad because they didn't charge me anything.
Just by the quality of their actions and service, I would've paid, but they said no.
Karen & Tracey, Thank you🧘♂️☯️🙏, I appreciate you, and you've earned my respect for your professionalism and kind heart! ❤️
