Tried to get food from this location for the first time tonight at 8:00pm and I won't be trying again. I ordered online and attempted to pick up in the drive-thru. The manager was working the window when I pulled up and I gave her my order number. After a wait I'm eventually handed an order for a "Nick" and the manager gets frustrated when I tell her it wasn't mine.
I repeated my order number and tell her my name to be clear. She asked me what I ordered but walked away from the window as soon as I started answering. When she came back she suggested that I ordered from the wrong store but confirmed that the address from my receipt was correct. She's visibly angry at this point and tells me "you keep telling me your order number but I don't have an order number, I need your name!" I gave her my name a second time and she asked what I ordered again. Just like the first time, she turned her back on me and walked away as I started to answer.
She never tried to correct or de-escalate the situation, she just kept getting angrier with me and repeating she didn't have my order. I asked if she could at least refund my money and she snapped back that I have to do it through the website.
I understand that fast food is an incredibly stressful job and totally understand having a bad day. But if you're going to be a manager you've got to do better than yelling at a customer because you can't find their food. Read moreOkay so take this with a grain of salt because it was their first day of operation. That’s why this is 2 stars instead of 1. In the drive thru I specifically asked if they had popcorn chicken in which I was told yes. Then I got the food and it was shrimp. That’s ok, just misheard me. My wife’s allergic to shellfish so I asked for chicken nuggets instead. The manager decided the best action was to refund me for the shrimp then charge me for chicken instead of just swapping equal value. Ok fine but then instead of refunding me for the shrimp and charging for the chicken he charges me the amount I was suppose to be refunded then charges me again for nuggets. I don’t realize the mistake until I’m half way home. I’ve been charged $24 for the original order then another $19 that was suppose to be a refund then another $13 for 24 nuggets. I had to turn back around and they did finally refund me the $19 that was suppose to have been refunded in the first place. The entire thing took like 30 mins from start to finish and never once was I offered anything more than a ooops sorry. At that point a free drink or maybe throw in some extra nuggets for the hassle would have been nice. Definitely would have saved them from this review. I might try again in a couple years when they get it together but ONLY because the buffalo sauce...

Popeyes staff only responded when their customers started shouting at them. The manager was breading at the back of the kitchen and would not help control the situation. He wouldn’t even turn to face the customers. Instead had his back to us and just talked over his shoulder. No customer service attitude. The woman packing boxes had her back to the counter the whole time. One guy had been waiting over 10 minutes to place a counter order. She only served him when other customers pointed out he was waiting. Here’s where I think Popeyes has gone off the rails. The customers no longer exist. The staff are only serving the machine that spits out orders chits. You don’t exist as a customer other than some order details on a piece of paper. In my opinion Popeyes are unlikely to fix this as their holding company owners have messed them up. Accordingly I will never eat at this franchise again. I’ve deleted my Popeyes...
