I'm dealing with chronic pain, minor disabilities, and temperature regulation issues.
Today, Wednesday 8/14 around 1pm, I had to take a Lyft to my salon in Mendota Heights from Vadnais Heights (yes, folks, Bobbie at Fantastic Sam's is that awesome); I realized my phone was dying, so I walked to the Walgreens from the salon before my appt for a charger and a couple other items while out on this little adventure. I was very casually dressed, hot, a bit sweaty. I definitely needed my hair done! On the plus side, I'm naturally friendly and articulate. Perhaps a bit imposing at 6 feet tall?
During checkout, I fumbled a bit at the card machine, and didn't always see directions on the machine. I did my best to make fun of myself and keep it light. Unfortunately, the older woman at checkout and another employee, possibly the manager on duty, couldn't keep from making disgusted faces at each other, rolling their eyes, and scoffing despite my best efforts. They seriously needed to go out of their way to express displeasure at my presence for some reason.
A little kindness or just plain basic respect would have gone a long way. It is, in fact, to be expected. No one this day and age is expected to be as bubbly and silly as they used to be. That's totally fine. But these gals were just nasty to me. It's not the greatest first impression of what is actually a pretty neat area. I realize we all have bad days, but these people really wanted to push their ugly attitudes.
Please feel free to check out my other reviews, and you'll know I'm fair with businesses, and legit. I also secret shop. They would have had one really bad score on customer service.
Other than that, the store was clean and quiet. Yes, it is open. Google says temporarily closed, but go in if you have to, I guess. I'll be posting on the pharmacy as that is declared open at the...
Read moreThey gave me wrong medicines…..I have correct medicines, but I was confused about why they closed my correct medicines. I do not know if new medicines could make me feeling alittle different…? I looked up on Grok/Twitter to ask a question about “ER vs SR” because SR blood pressure medicine would have me to take 2 a day and ER would have me to take once a day (what’s wrong with some pharmacists’ brain like they maybe research more deeply better because I know it’s alittle different???)
I know that Mayo Clinic would never give me incorrect BP medicines like they wanted me to stay on ER ones so I have to deny BP SR medicine because I needed to listen to my good doctors from Mayo that’s why I was worried about how new SR medicine would affect my body and BP numbers…I never means to be rude to pharmacists, just told them “NO”
My doctors said they never changed BP medication…. This store is liar…..then yesterday I have WRONG color pills again with saying “Verapamil ER”
Now they are putting me into medically trouble because of medicines are delaying….don’t keep me waiting for it because I don’t want...
Read moreEver since the previous pharmacist left and Andy is just a fill in. This place has turned into a literal nightmare. Store manager is probably the most condescending person I've met in a while and apparently simple math isn't there strong suit and neither is there system. The reviews about them being short on pharmacy techs are absolutely true and the disrespect I was treated with today will go to corporate and thank God I have the resources to actually make my complaint go somewhere because they definitely don't put customer service as a priority. Not to mention one half of the pharmacy staff does things one way and the other does...
