From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome and invited to sample some of the delicious ice cream flavors on offer. The staff were incredibly friendly and engaging, striking up conversations with us about our favorite flavors and toppings.

But it was when the staff started sharing their ice cream tips and tricks that things really got interesting. They showed us how to make the perfect ice cream cone, how to mix and match flavors to create unique combinations, and even shared some fun facts about the history of ice cream.

But the real highlight of the visit was when the staff put on a show for my kids. They flipped and spun the ice cream scoops with expert precision, creating a colorful and delicious spectacle that had my kids wide-eyed with wonder

We chose the Mendota Heights Cold Stone to cater our wedding dessert. We were able to customize our flavors, including a bride’s dessert and a groom’s. Wayne, the franchise owner, personally catered our wedding and even went above and beyond walking the ice cream cart around the venue to offer seconds to our guests. Wayne is so personable and friendly! We included him for silly photos in our Photo Booth and we still cherish those hilarious moments captured. He was a huge part of our celebration making it extra special. Not only that but every time we go to his Cold Stone location we also feel special with the warm welcome we get from Wayne and his staff every time. (We are frequent visitors.) Everyone there is so friendly and generous with their delicious creations. They will forever have our business. They really do go above a beyond and make us feel special and part of their community. The light fixture above the ceiling fan gives off seizure-inducing flickers due to the fan blades, just take out the one bulb for Pete’s sake. The service was the height of apathy, 3 teenage boys having a sloth contest. It took 20 minutes to place an order with only a group of 3 people in front of us. Zero napkins in the dispenser on the way out, and by then the kid who rang me up had already ambled away and I didn’t want to spend another minute of my time there. The only 2 moments of life were when a girl that one of the boys knew came in and he perked up and promptly threw some ice cream across the inside of the case, and when the same kid very carefully asked me to be sure to fill out my credit card receipt in hopes of me leaving...
