Hi Everyone ! If I could give no stars it would be none. I have been on instagram since 2015. Iāve never gotten banned from instagram or falsely reported as much as I did when I reached 71k followers never disrespected anyone on instagram never bullied anyone never went against community guidelines if I did go against community guidelines it was unintentionally , but back in 11/15/2023 instagram took my account, they have been taking my account for over 3 months before they permanently took my account this time 5/15/2024 it took these people 7 months to decide if they wanted to give my account back or not . My account has been hacked once , but I received it back . My account has been falsely reported for no reason , but they gave it back 3 times all because of my followers & the amount of fan base that I have gained, but since Iām not a celebrity instagram takes my page permanently after 180 days of me complaining trying to reach out to someone & this what I get at the end. I have supported many of people on instagram. I have even made my funds off of instagram by supporting businesses & for them to tell me that they took my account that Iāve had since 2015 is disgusting, especially if you havenāt did anything wrong . The last 3 times they took my account before this time they said they were all a mistakes this time was a mistake as well. I really feel like instagram was targeting me & discriminating against me . I also have friends that have said the same thing . If youāre not making Instagram money they donāt care at all . When I had a blue check they gave my account back to me immediately but once I no longer had the blue check my account kept being reported & I had to restart the process all over again for a blue check, so I got tired & no longer wanted the blue check because of false reports. I have never posted bad things on my page if anything it was to engage with my followers & to make them laugh the reason how I got 71.8k followers . I worked hard for my page & for instagram to take my account over me being bullied harassed & falsely reported is insane. I never understood why everyone loved TikTok but now I see why. I was once a person that didnāt like TikTok , but loved Instagram I can literally see that instagram have favors & discriminates some people . You have some on instagram doing all sorts of things like posting fights every day using profanity sexual activities nudity scamming people out of their hard earned money but my page gets permanently deactivated for no reason . I can honestly say Instagram have made me think suspiciously about them & itās not in a good way .Iām not doing anything that no one else is doing besides posting & voicing my opinion, it was a post about a black woman & a Yt lady the black woman was defending her special needs child & her & the Yt lady were arguing over her disrespecting her child & others were there to voice their opinions on my post & made it out of something that itās not Like Race, but they say instagram is a platform to express yourself lol I think not that rule applies to certain people & certain people only I noticed when itās something containing Yt people itās a problem lol Instagram is a joke. Everything that Iāve posted was reposts from someone else & guess what ? their accounts are still there . š¤ lol Oh & btw I had followers swammming to my page like flies. I was so scared 𤣠I donāt know if thatās what you called bots or what, but I had to put my page on private because they were coming from every where. I gained my followers honestly by myself & they took my page out of all those yrs. I really believe they stole my page š¤¦š½āāļø I never thought Iāll say this but I hate instagram , but want to stay in touch with my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBy far the worst customer support I had contact with! When I log in to my Instagram account @felix_sge, I get the message, that I'm not old enough to use Instagram even though I am 22. I have this problem since 2 montgs, sent at least 30 e-Mails, commented and DM'd Instagram and their founders, sent messages via Twitter, contacted the Facebook support, etc. I have attached a photo of my passport and ID on most of these requests, but never received answers that helped me. Most times, Instagram support told me that it seems like my account was deactivated which is not true (the account is still online as I can clearly see with a second account of mine and when I try to appeal a deactivated Instagram account, it sais that a message can't be sent because the account is active). I had used Instagram passionately since 2013, had 770 posts and over 10k followers but I guess I'm done with this app now. I am definitely not going to create a new account and start all over again and it seems like Instagram doesn't even try to help it's users. I can't recommend this app, because if you ever have a problem accessing your account, that means that the account is lost forever.
Edit 01/21: After months, I finally received a mail back from Instagram saying that they can't review IDs right now due to Covid-19. Right after that, I looked for my account on Instagram with a different account and suddenly couldn't find it any more. When I tried logging in after seeing that, it told me that I had "requested to delete the account" which is of course not true. It said, I can only choose to keep the account until February 7th, after that it would be gone forever. I clicked on "keep account", but that is what you get for asking for help: the first time they say, that you're under 13 and the 2nd time they say that you want to delete the account (both false claims). I wonder what happens next, I'll keep you updated via this review š. This company is seriously such a joke.
Edit 03/21: I finally have access to Instagram again after half a year! The support still...

One intern cried after his lunch photo was rejected for āinciting emotional instability.ā It was a grilled cheese sandwich. I asked if I could appeal. The Roomba growled.
Secondly, thereās an āInnovation Podā where employees gather to brainstorm new reasons to ban people. The whiteboard had stuff like āToo Happy,ā āHas Cat Energy,ā āExcessive Use of the Color Orange.ā Someone proudly added āPosted on a Tuesday.ā When I said that seemed harsh, a siren went off and a drone in a Meta-branded diaper swooped down and slapped my phone out of my hand. It auto-banned me for questioning authority while being conscious.
Thirdly, I tried accessing the Appeals Portal on a company computer and the screen went black. Then a single sentence appeared: āYou knew this wasnāt gonna work.ā I blinked, and suddenly the monitor showed a livestream of me being banned againāin real timeāeven though I wasnāt even logged in. The tech guy shrugged and said, āYeah, the AI is learning sarcasm now. It's... going poorly.ā
Fourthly, thereās a part of the building labeled āLegacy Code Storageā and itās just a room filled with dusty iPhones playing 2013 selfies on loop while a robotic voice screams āTHAT WAS FINE BACK THENā every 10 minutes. When I stepped inside, I was instantly aged 7 years and banned for ātime traveling without proper documentation.ā I still have flashbacks of duck-face filters and sepia tones.
Fifthly, I saw a banner in the lobby that said āWELCOME TO INSTAGRAM: WHERE CREATIVITY COMES TO DIE.ā Below it was a statue of a crying influencer holding a phone that read āYour account has been disabled.ā A tour guide handed me a cookie shaped like the ban hammer and said, āItās gluten-free. Like your rights.ā Then he vanished into mist, whispering āToo much engagementā¦ā as if that alone would trigger...
