An absolutely beautiful hiking spot. I was constantly searching for the right words to describe what I was seeing and was never able to. It's nature at its best, you can hardly see any trace of society, just the occasional trail marker or info board. I didn't see a single piece of trash while I was walking around. As an Eagle Scout, that makes me so happy to know that this area is taken care of. I took well over 100 pictures throughout my hike and was constanty blown away by how beautiful the scenery is. The understory is pretty dense, and since the island is mostly residential in nature, things feel much more like "nature in residence" because the sounds of human activity are rather muted. Unfortunately, the trails are not marked, leading to a lot of guessing games even with a map in hand.
