By far the worst experience that I had with a restaurant for a very long time. We decided to continue supporting local businesses and order food for us and friends from this place.

Once our doordasher arrived to pick up the food they told him that it will take an hour (on top of the 40+ min that they originally said). I didn't believe it and called the restaurant, the lady on the phone did not know what door dash is, she placed me on hold and was trying to find my order, after 8 min she just hung up (I heard her doing it). I called again but they didn't answer, so I called from my wife's phone and they answered right away. They just refused to admit that they screwed up and didn't prepare the order, so they told me that the food is ready. The doordasher asked for the food right after and they told him that it's not ready, so I called again, and the lady told me that they are making it now. I told them to cancel but she refused (that's around 1.5 hours after the restaurant confirmed my order). I had to call DoorDash and cancel - to summarize, the restaurant which we tried to support wasted my time, made us eat dinner 2.5 hours late, and made the door dash delivery person sit and wait for no reason. The lady on the phone did me a favor and said sorry.

This place should step up the game and appreciate its customers. While I cannot comment on the quality of food, this place has horrible customer service (all of it could have been solved if they had a reasonably nice customer-oriented...

Ordered takeout lunch today. When I got back to my office six miles away and looked at the food. This is what I found. Without asking they gave us the dinner size portions when we ordered lunch the dinner size being much more expensive. When we asked for a bit of sour creme on the side they gave us nearly a pint in a aluminum container and charged accordingly. The food was terrible. The chicken was dry and there was virtually no cheese in the QuesadIlla, what there was was totally dry. There were almost no tomatoes and the few were little pieces. When discussing this with the owner he rudely told me to bring the food back and he would give me a refund. So I'm supposed to drive two trips of 12 miles round trip and not eat to get a refund. Run from this place. The food at the two in Factoria is much better. (And closer if you live on the north end of Mercer Island.) They are friendly and when there is a problem they make it right with no argument. Also I know of food poisoning coming from this restaurant. (It might be mentioned in an older review). Also there is no air circulation so Covid is a big risk here. Just not a good place to eat. This is my first single star review of any restaurant. There is a good reason. Many of the five stars are from the...

Was picking up a togo order of a bunch of food for a catered party. Had about 6 boxes of food. They braught out the boxes separately in foil with a paper tops. I asked for a bag and they said they didn’t have bags big enough for the boxes. They insisted on loading the boxes on my fabric car seat instead of the floor. I noticed there was a clear liquid leaking out of all the boxes while i was halfway back to the party i had to bring the food too. By the time i got there (house was only 3 min away), there was s pool of clear foul smelling liquid on my FABRIC car seat. I did what i could to clean it up, by the next day my car smelled like a dead rat. payed 120 dollars to get the seat steam cleaned. took away the smell for about a day and came back. I have no idea the cost i will have to pay for the foul smelling mess this restaurant made in the back of my car all because they didn’t have big enough bags. Food was good but i would rather not spend a...

The atmosphere is nice, and it's in a quiet retail center in south Mercer Island, so the location is decent. However, for the price of the food, the quality and taste should be much better. I paid $29 for cheese enchiladas with extra rice, and that did not include the tip. The rice was completely plain, no flavor, no veggies, nothing special at all. The charra beans seemed like they just opened a can of pinto beans and did nothing else... again, no flavor. The chips were stale. The enchiladas were ok, but again... NOT worth the cost. The service was friendly, no issues there. Just don't go here if you want good Mexican food at a reasonable price.

Yum! The margarita’s are the size of a fish bowl and they are delicious! I love the hot chips and salsa and even better yet, it also comes with this crunchy fresh cabbage side as well as the spicy bean dip which the combo is yumalicious! Today, we tried the chicken 🐔 quesadilla’s and W O W were they sizzling hot good! We asked for whole beans rather than refried beans and again ... yumville! Thanks for filling up our bellies! So so sooooooo worth it! The only thing I would change, if you could, is to move to the Northend of the Island ... other than that, see you next time!

I went for dinner after I was told it was “the best Mexican food” I’ve ever had. I took it with a grain of salt as I’m from Texas and this is Washington. Over all the food was ok. Very onion forward leaving behind a strong flavor and smell in my car with the left overs. It wasn’t bad but price doesn’t equal product. If I go again it will be for happy hour. The bar area looks like fun.
