I enjoyed Walking on the Skateboarding 🛹 Park while no one was around one Frosty 🥶 ❄️ 🍂🍁 Fall Morning 🌄 in Beautiful Meridian Idaho 🏔️! I was able to do my squats using the Skateboarding 🛹 Park Railing. There were people walking their dogs 🦮🐶🦮🐾🐕 off in the distance. I will have to go back and get some pictures using my Google Pixel Phone Pro 7 📱🤳! I had so much fun ☺️ that I went back 🔙 today and exploded Tully Park more! The Meridian Bike 🚲 Path runs East - West across the Northern end of Tully Park. Along a Stream of Water 💦. There's some nice plants and trees to look at! There's an Information ℹ️ Sign 🛑 about The Meridian Bike 🚲 Path at The Northwest Corner of Tully Park 🏞️, @ its intersectiion with Linder Road. There is a 🚥🚦 Pedestrian Crossing with a Light at this point. In addition, there's a Picnic Pavilion, a small Baseball ⚾ Field with some seating, 1 Outdoor Basketball 🏀 Court, and a 🚸 Children's Playground that's under construction 🚧. I felt safe walking next to The New Playground because there's a fence around the construction. The entrance to the Pedestrian Loop is between The Picnic Pavilion and the New Playground. Pedestrian Facilities were limited and The Children's Playground is still under construction 🚧, so I'm only giving it 4 Stars. But I highly recommend this park as a nice place to relax and unwind, or Skateboard 🛹, like I did when I was a teenager. I'm going to go back to Tully Park 🏞️ another day and figure out where I end up if I walk East ➡️ on the Meridian Bike 🚲 Path. Adventure...
Read moreTully Park has two nice baseball fields, walking paths around the parameter, and between ball fields. Near the north street entrance is a popular concrete sculpted area uased by skateboarders and such. It seems quite popular with the younger set. From Meridian Road there are two entrances and two non-vehicle entrances from neighborhoods. On the south side are well maintained easy access restrooms, playground equipment, covered tables, and my favorite - exercise equipment. That's not my only favorite thing at Tully Park. Walk beyond the parking lot, playground, and restrooms and find an area with lots of trees, grouped to provide shade most of the day. The best time of day to visit? Choose your own, but my favorite time as the sun rises. Try Tully Park and find your favorite...
Read moreIv'e lived 2 blocks from this park for 20 yrs.... best part for me is that it's the west end of the paved pathway that follows the irrigation canal eastward to the next major street almost 2 miles. Great for a walk or bike ride. At Tully the pathway begins at a small bridge over the canal, the other end of the pathway is a simple turnaround and go back. Bonus is halfway down the path is another neighborhood park with a playground. I v'e been bike riding this path almost everyday and meet lots of wonderful people. Tully park itself is large enough to go walk your dog or play sports with plenty of room for everyone... it also has a nice playground for kids and a bunch of outdoor workout exercise machines for the parents. 2 nice covered spots with tables and grills...
