We tried them out for pizza. Pizza was very soggy and grease filled. I do realize cheese can attribute to this. But, Pizza hut/dominoes is better. Tonight, we forgot to to pull something out for dinner and I had already been to the store. SOOOooo... we decided to give Chicago Connections another try since they serve things other than pizza. So hubby got the french dip sandwich. Au jus was good. But barely anything inside the sandwich. So... um $9 for bread with a sprig of meat and cheese. I got the gyro salad. Last time I checked, gyro meat was supposed to be soft and moist, flavorful. Not burnt to a crisp. I have a wonderful picture of the so-called gyro meat. Uh yeah. $9 for that salad. I would of been better off with mcdonalds. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. Lesson learned. Will never go or order from this store. Do not offer things you cannot make well. Think the food network could give you pointers.

It occurred to me that I’ve driven by this place many times and have entirely ignored it. So I took the plunge and tried it for lunch. It was empty. The meatball sandwich was quite nice. I asked for the breading to be hollowed out to make it slightly less carb-heavy. Perhaps like the legendary Philly Cheesesteak sandwich, a Chicago meatball sandwich is bound to have a cult following. I rarely order them. I found this quite enjoyable. Before my first bite, just tasting the cheese alone reminded me how tasty and satisfying a robust mozzarella can be. Sliced meatballs made eating the sandwich manageable and not a jaw-breaking experience. Chicago Connection was founded in Boise. It isn’t a large nationwide brand – so it’s good to know if you like supporting local Idahoan businesses.

Haven't had chicago connection in a while so driving by i thought I'd give it a shot and it was totally worth it! My son and I ordered a half cheese, half Canadian bacon pizza and it was amazing tasting and looking! And it was relatively fast coming out to us too! The waiter was very kind and friendly and the atmosphere was wonderful with classic rock filling the building! Would highly recommend for comming back again

I started to write a 4 star review, but as I read some of the rantings of others it made me change my opinion. Coming from a past background of food services I understand you can't please all the people all the time. Specifically when people call at your busiest times to complain. I have grown up in Meridian and have spent years ordering from Chicago Connect in Meridian and have had ok times and great times with my outcome. Just like any other place I am sure they have had workforce problems. A year ago I had a terrible experience at this store, to the point I did in fact call corporate and spoke to a very pleasant person that listened to my concerns and actually assured me things were being addressed. I was given a pizza voucher and was asked to not give up on them. I have ordered multiple times since and for the most part it went very well. Just this last week I ordered on a very busy Friday night and though it took a little longer to get it was the best experience I have had there in years. This tells me they really are trying their best to make it better. The growth in this area and the lack of quality people actually wanting to work and show up for work makes it challenging for these small businesses to be perfect every time. I commend this store on the changes they are making and Chicago Connection will always be my favorite pizza! For some of you that have a different opinion feel free to take your business to a place that will make you happier and honestly think about how hard it is to please everyone...

I called to order for delivery and was hung up on twice, I know I was because I heard people in the background. I called a 3rd time and a kid answered and I asked if I could speak to a manager which their operations manager answered and told me she was “literally there by herself” which in no way shape or form makes sense if a kid answered. I told her I wanted to place an order and she informed me they didn’t have time to make one pizza (this was an hour and a half before their closing time.) I told her I tried calling 2 separate times but was hung up on twice and she called me a liar, and told me that their whole staff called off, when I told her that the way she was talking was not okay she said she’d call me the next day to discuss it. I never got that call (surprise) but if that’s their operations manager I can only assume she’s a big reason why morale would be so low to have an entire team call off, and for a pizza company that’s goal is to make money why would you allow someone like her to ever communicate with your customers? She was horrible. Just a garbage experience from a pizza place I used to absolutely love and frequent. I will tell everyone I know not to order from...

Placed an order for 1 pizza and an order of cheese bread at 3:50 pm today for a 6:15-6:30 delivery window. It’s now 7:06. I have called twice. Been told we have four drivers out and your order is ready once they are back.. that was at 6:30. At 7 I got told it’s out for delivery and I should have had it. Driver is making one other delivery then you should see em not even 10 minutes…. We are now at 7:08 and still no food. How do you take over 3 hours to make a pizza and cheese bread for delivery that’s five minutes drive time from the shop…..7:09… no food… called a THIRD TIME at 7:18…the reply was “I don’t know why the driver has t delivered your pizza. I can call him”…..wow…and you want a tip…. These windows of time for delivery were provided by YOUR company. This guy acted like I WAS the one being unreasonable. I called back a fourth time and got told it’s a new driver and we can’t reach him. I told them to cancel my order. Thank for ruining Valentines Dinner Chicago Connection. Really appreciate your inability to handle a pizza order five minutes from my house with a three hour ahead...
