Time Zone Toys — Local services in Meridian

I only just heard about Time Zone Toys because they were recently mentioned in a news story. So I thought I'd check em out. I went in this last Tuesday and the store full full of merchandise, great selection, a bit messy/unorganized but awesome nonetheless. The employee behind the counter was super friendly and knowledgeable. I ended up leaving with $38 in Star Wars figs from the late 90s, 1 carded, rest loose. I was a happy satisfied customer. At this point it's a 5 star experience. Then I went in yesterday. Totally different experience. The store was much more organized. The guy running the store was preoccupied, opening the store etc. I looked at some figs and asked about some figs I had looked at earlier in the week, loose Star Wars figs late 90's. The gentleman behind the counter tells me "They don't sell loose modern Star Wars figures. It's show season." I doddled in the store a moment longer and left empty handed. Real turn off experience. I'm a grungy guy and it tells me a lot about a place when I get treated this way. The person running the shop on Saturdays only wants to sell high dollar items and gawd forbid if you show up any time soon because it's "show season" so you wouldn't want to disturb their empty store. I'll just keep getting my figs from eBay or Antique World...

Sadly the business owner is extremely rude and shady. Don’t support this business. He thinks it’s okay to up prices to crazy amounts, well past what things are worth, if the shop is having a “bad month” and “needs the money” YIKES! - EDIT: you can see that this man is extremely rude and aggressive if he gets a bad review! (Read replies on other reviews too.) I HAVE been in his shop and left without buying anything because the shop is a mess and nothing was priced fairly. You can see by my other reviews in the area I’m not just some online “stalker” (bro look up the definition of stalker, it’s not leaving review I assure you lol) I live here and did in fact interact with this horrible shop and owner. Later we had an interaction on Facebook where he defended price gouging and all of his other bad behaviors. He’s happy to lie on here and try to shame people who leave bad reviews to make himself feel better. Just go to eBay instead of supporting this extremely...

Went to the store at 12 like he advertises when he’s open. Pulled the door at 12:08 and it was locked so we waited because the lights were on. Then he comes out and asked “Can I help you with something” I said ya we want to shop. And he told us he’s not going to open until 12:30 or so because he was going to the bank… it’s noon man you should be ready google said you were open and so was my wallet but I guess eBay it is…

Edit: we didn’t look at your hours on your sign we saw the lights were on inside and that google said you were open. We pulled on the door because we figured you forgot to turn the open sign on we drove from out of town! Your customer service is amazing and let me tell ya what people say about you in town is very true.

Dude also changed his google info after I left a bad review must have realized I was right
