I recently visited Mexico Beach, Florida, and I must say, it's a true gem that deserves a five-star review. The pristine beaches are simply breathtaking, with soft sands and crystal-clear waters that make for an ideal beach getaway. Most of the debris has been removed and rebuilding/repairing is well under way. There is lots of open space where houses used to be and the landscape can be hard to recognize. Toucans is just a bare spot on the sand and El Governor is just a see through frame. Still, it's Mexico Beach, a place dear to so many. Mexico Beach has been hit hard by the hurricane. Many of the places you may be familiar with are no longer there. Everyday more is gone and more is rebuilt.
