A Christmas Party in the year of Covid was supposed to be the last thing anyone was going to try to do. We wanted to give it a try so I called RSVP in Loveland for some help. Sarah was on the phone after three rings and was pleased to help me navigate my way from "how do we pull this off and be compliant with the Governor's curfew whims, to how many types of whipped cream do you carry for maximum artery abuse on your sundae bar"?...
We settled on a date and an ice cream bar of course ( I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT) and off we went. Sarah followed up with several emails with some menu recommendations and talked me through hosting a nice event.
The day of the event we came in around noon and set up our "door prize" table. Of course we dropped the boxes on the floor and headed out since aesthetic product placement is not a forte of ours. Cathy, the service manager, took that task over without prompting and when we returned at 6:00 she had our gifts looking like a display at Nieman Marcus on Black Friday (prior to shoppers ransacking the aisles of course). What a nice touch.
Room was decorated by them in a Christmas theme, was festive, large and very clean. Restrooms were spotless and the place is obviously well kept.
Sound system was explained, bar was opened up and Jack and the team had the drinks flowing like that river in the mountains in the Coor's commercials. Prime rib, chicken and even the salad was awesome. Everything was served hot and with a nice smile. The servers were awesome and we enjoyed the evening with them. Things couldn't have gone better. We couldn't have asked for a better run up and evening in this most trying of the trying years.
Thank you Sarah and the Service Team at RSVP for a most memorable, safe and most of all FUN night in the midst of this Covid pandemic. Please don't hesitate to book with confidence here. It was the easiest party I have...
Read moreAbsolutely beautiful, spacious, modern event space capable of being utilized in a variety of ways. Convenient, ample parking. A small lobby area was roomy enough to accommodate a line of tables for registration purposes and, at my event, a photo booth. Interior design is neutral enough to compliment and never distract from an event's potentially themed colors, props, table settings, costuming, etc. I believe the event space also provides elevated floor space/stage for speakers, DJs, bridal table, etc. which appeared to me to be portable also. I don't know if they offer their own caterer. All I know is the caterers we had were excellent, friendly and worked the room well, and the appetizers and meal we were served buffet-style at stations on two sides of the room were hot and tasty.
The event I attended was a very large conference. It is hard for me to envision small, intimate gatherings here, as the space would tend to swallow them up. However, it may be there were smaller rooms off the main I was unaware of, or perhaps the space can be divided by mobile or sliding wall units. It is definitely worth...
Read moreNice size venue. Absolutely terrible table service and horrible menu. Was here for a Hall of Fame induction ceremony. There was not enough food for the entire audience, so meals were distributed on half portions without any type of monetary refund. For the amount of money that was paid, it was very troubling to see such an understaffed and incompetent situation. Stay away from this place unless you want unsuspecting surprises to derail your event. You would be better off with a VFW or Legion hall... Wish I could give...
