We're so glad to have such a neat experience offered by Dow Gardens to be able to enjoy butterflies in the middle of March. Although I'd prefer to not have to use the reservation system, I appreciate that it probably keeps the facility less crowded than it could be otherwise. We went on a Saturday morning and still had plenty of opportunity to view the butterflies as well as hold a few. I like that holding the butterflies isn't discouraged as long as it's done in a way that doesn't harm them.
