Such a beautiful spot. Also quite peaceful on a sunny day. Be sure to check weather for any storms before your visit since the gravel road can get muddy. At first we weren’t sure if our car could go up on the gravel road, I wish the signs had clarification. We started panicking as we drove up and saw people walking and we thought we had made a mistake bringing our car up, but we were relieved to find multiple cars parked on the top part. It’s a nice hike for those who do walk though, very rewarding at the end to see such a pretty memorial. I definitely recommend. There are restrooms at the very bottom of the hill where the entrance to the trail is. The signs say no dogs are allowed, to prevent droppings. If you do bring them, please take the time to clean...

As a Veteran, it is heartwarming that the Midway community have dedicated such a beautiful place for local Wasatch Veterans and I can only hope to one day make it on the Hill!!

From the entrance to the very top is close to a 1 mile long round the hill road that gives you gorgeous views of the Heber Valley around each bend. The road used to be drivable but is now walk in only, which has preserved the terrain and beauty of the hike to the top! Whether you are a local or just visiting, you need to experience the beauty of Memorial Hill at least once. The Mile long walk up the hill is worth it as the Veterans upon the Memorial site on top deserve their memories to...

Gulf War Vet here, and it’s always humbling when memorials are made for us. This one is very well built. You can drive up to the memorial stones, and flags. (No hiking is needed). They have flags of all branches of the armed forces. Each memorial stone represents a different conflict/war, with the names of service members who served in what war, (service member who were from Utah). It’s free. It is very well worth stopping by if you are in Heber, Midway, Park City, even in...

Memorial Hill in Midway is hard to miss. It's a tall narrow hill in the center of the city. You can drive to the top, and I recommend a nice morning walk. Watch the town grown smaller and meditate. At the top is a war memorial for all wars the US has been involved in, some beautiful sculptures, flags, and a green area. These are some of the best views in Midway. Well worth a little less than an hour or so.
