I had been to Kent many times. In my last trip (Jun 19, 2020) I decided to get there by bicycle. I am not a professional cyclist but 4 years ago bought a hybrid one and had put at least 500 miles on that saddle. There is a nice although not easy on your legs path to get there if you park your car in Wixom and then follow the Pontiac Trail all the way to the lake. It is about 25 miles round trip (includes the Metropark lake loop) and it was worthy of my exerting effort. The views from the saddle cannot be understood unless you do it. Those cranes were extremely friendly. Came too close without my notice. I respect Nature and enjoyed their coolness but needed...

Kensington Metro Park surrounds the entire lake. They offer a full 18 hole(maybe more) golf course. We like to rent a rowboat and fish. Good fishing. The lake is big with lots of good places to fish. There's also a nicely paved 10 mile path around the lake that's great for biking, rollerblading, running or walking. Lots of trails to observe nature. A great place...

I have been here at least 25 times and I still end up on trails that I've never seen before. My only complaint is that some of the trails are not properly marked. I got turned around on the AB trail but eventually found my way back to the car. It was still an amazing time because the park is incredible but I'd like to know where I'm at a...

We took the little boat up to the island and explored a bit of fun. The water is clean. A huge amount of picnic area. It can get a mitl le crowded sometimes. There are loads to do and many playgrounds. I've been going here since I was a child. Lots of memories here.
