Rowan Short Hills — Attraction in Millburn

I usually don’t leave reviews, but I felt the need to share my experience. I got a hidden helix piercing here, and unfortunately, it didn’t go well at all.

I was genuinely excited to get a hidden helix piercing, but the experience turned out to be incredibly disappointing. The placement of the earring was poorly done — it didn’t look right at all and was clearly not positioned properly.

What made it worse was that the piercer didn’t even bother to ask if the placement was okay with me. The whole process felt rushed and careless. They just went ahead and pierced without checking or confirming anything. As a result, the placement looked off, unbalanced, and honestly not what I expected at all.

This kind of service is unacceptable, especially for something permanent like a cartilage piercing. It felt like they didn’t care about the outcome or the client. Very unprofessional and not...

Rowan was a wonderful experience! I was welcomed and guided by Hailey in the front who helped me decide which technique and earring type would be best for the look I was going for. Tori did the piercings, and she was incredible. Everything was extremely clean and her process was thorough and meticulous, ensuring the perfect location and symmetry as she went. The needle piercing itself for my second and third lobes holes was fast and no more than a pinch. Tori explained after care in detail and ensured I understood. She sanitized my first hole earrings for me, and made sure I was feeling good before leaving by reclining me back and giving me an apple juice. There was no rushing, and it was all at my own pace and comfort.

Disappointed…month ago myself and friend go our ears pierced pleasant experience while way more expensive than expected. Make sure to look at all the prices! Today went on Thursday as they take walk ins Mon - Thurs. we needed to swap to shorter posts which is an additional cost not free . The store was empty she proceeds to find my account as she needs to book appt not sure why since store is empty and it’s walk in days but fine then tells me it’ll go quicker if I make the appointments myself !! This isn’t a free service it’s yet another cost it was to swap out 3 piercings and I come on walk in days only to be told to make my own appt despite any empty store! I walked out this is ridiculous and not how returning paying customers should be treated. Very disappointing...
