Slightly off highway #24 in the city of Millsboro is a small park that sits by the Indian River Bay. The park has a simple layout but could use an upgrade in landscaping to better present it's image. As you approach the water, you yearn for a few benches to sit down and look out into the river. Adding a paved walking path near the benches with a few plants would highlight the river and the park. At night, adding a few small lamp posts, ( near the benches) would provide the warmth of being near the water. To better understand this landscaping concept, there is a similar park that is surrounded by water that is located in Milton. This park has beautiful landscaping, benches, light posts and plants. If the city of Millsboro applies similar landscaping, from the highway, (especially driving at night), you will see a Cupola Park that would resemble a walk in Paris. Redesigning this park would certainly make a loud artfulness statement of appreciation. Bringing naturalism to Cupola Park would upgrade the city's image.

We love Cupola Park. They are plenty of things to do that will keep you children busy for hours on a nice day. You can even launch your boat there if you wanted to. Sometimes my wife and I will go there just to have a quiet picnic lunch. We have played there as kids, just like our kids, and hopefully one day our grandkids will get to enjoy it too. It really is a great little spot to relax and fish or just watch the water fowl. I high recommend stopping by when you have some time to kill and get away from the hustle and bustle, even if it's only for a moment.

Since our boys were toddlers (they're now 8 & 9) we've taken them to what they know as the "big park" . The playground is perfect for little guys but even I take a turn on the swings. There's plenty to do and for the most part the area is clean & free of trash which is nice to know that people respect & care for their neighborhoods & parks. Feeding the ducks and the geese has always been their favorite & sometimes you'll even catch a glimpse of some fish jumping in the water. It's a nice day out away to take a timeout from screen time.

I’ve enjoyed taking my children to this playground multiple times. However, the last few times we came we were completely appalled by the lack of cleanliness. We like to bring a picnic lunch to eat in the playground area, but there is only one available trash receptacle, and it was already overflowing and trash was scattered around it. On a windy day, it’s impossible to keep trash from blowing away. Next, two of my children needed to use the restroom. It was very disturbing to find that BOTH the womens’ and men’s’ restrooms had no working electricity or water! The men’s room did not have toilet paper. I had to prop open the door to let my toddler use the toilet; otherwise there wouldn’t have been any light to see while inside. Additionally, the toilets were completely full of excrement and toilet paper, and with no working water there was no way to flush! Also no way to wash your hands afterwards! There were two other adults at the restrooms the same time we were, and they refused to even go inside because (they said) it was so disgusting. These unsanitary conditions (especially for children) are unacceptable for a...

What is to say about this great little park by the river .with beautiful sunsets and plenty of parking it surely does deliver. The fishing is good , and sometimes even superb it will keep you busy reeling them in I myself caught so many that my partner looked very perturbed. But when u go a must see is there shallow little water fall and the many playful ducks , geese and other water fowl and I even seen a Eagle it was bald if I can recall. They even claim to have the largest Cyprus tree in the country at least that is what I'm told but thinking of it's grandor it sure is something to behold . So go visit cuppila park and relax and get lost for a few hours it's such a beautiful place especially in spring and don't forget to look at them beautiful flowers it will make you feel young again this place has...
