My wife and I ate here last night. Started off great, ended terribly. Friendly staff when you walk in. My wife ordered a margarita which was delicious and their house salsa also good. We ordered wings to start which were okay but very overcooked. We decided that was our mistake for ordering wings at a Mexican restaurant. Dinner wise we ordered 3 of their street taco varieties: the ground beef, the Arrachera and the Don Supremo. You should note that after ordering, the only person who came to our table was the food runner. We ate the Arrachera first, they were great with the steak and carmalized cheese. Next I ate two beef tacos. My wife had just started on the Don Supremo (which comes deconstructed with the tortillas on the side and the filling all covered in melted cheese) when her face alerted me to something being wrong. After her first bite, she pulled a hair from her mouth. After examining her plate, I put down my taco with one bite already taken from it. The Don Supremo had literally ~8 hairs of varying lengths, all throughout the filling and melted cheese. There was one beef taco left and after inspection, we also found a hair in that meat. We had to wait a while for a server to come and check on us, the one margarita was long gone and we never had a chance to ask for more salsa. My wife pointed to the hairs and explained that we had found them in two of the three taco orders. The server did not apologize, only said that this had never happened before. I asked for them to be taken off the bill and requested the check. The server only removed the Arrachera tacos, but not the beef, which wasn’t correct because we did not eat the last taco after the hair discovery. Not wanting to argue, we paid for everything except the Arrachera. After our stomachs turned and we questioned how much hair we may have eaten otherwise, we will not be going back. We started the meal by looking forward to bringing guests here and having a great cocktail bar so close to home, now we are having trouble eating breakfast, still sick to our stomachs from dinner. In my opinion, we shouldn’t have paid for a thing with how disgusted we were by the time we left. Having worked many years in food service, plus we said this was our first time when we initially sat down, they could have done the right thing and comped more...

Read moreWhere to begin... ANTS!!! We just stopped in on cinco de Mayo 2022. It was 2:30 in the afternoon. There were a few patrons at the bar and one table finishing up. Otherwise we were the only customers. Perfect timing between lunch and dinner. My family of six (5 plus a high chair) got seated right away. The menus were gross. Paper, non-laminated and stained. When we received our drinks for some unknown reason my daughters root beer tasted strange but my sons was fine. Strange but it happens. The server suggested the chunky guacamole so we ordered it. When it came there were tiny ants crawling all over the molcajete and guacamole. My son noticed it first right away. The server just dropped it off and left. I called him over after we noticed . He said he'd fix it. By the time he brought it back (yes he brought it back) we had decided we weren't ready to brave whatever other creepy crawlers might come with the rest of our meal and decided to pay for our drinks and leave. While ringing me up the manager or owner came over and asked what was happening, speaking in Spanish. He told her about the ants. They still decided to charge us for our beers we half drank nervously. $9 for two Morelos on convo de mayo. I shouldn't have been charged anything in my opinion. I hope they use it to call an...
