Dandy — Local services in Milwaukee

My daughter had her wedding at this venue and we enjoyed it very much! The exterior of the building doesn't look very impressive but when you enter the interior event area, it's very spacious and huge! It's decorated with antique furniture and items which gives the place so much character. The room's skylights help light up the large room and it was pretty neat when a rainstorm broke out that evening and we watched the rain hit the skylights. Other things that were interesting at the venue, were the old garage doors that have bullet holes, and the owner's creative use of wooden organ pipes to use as shelving in the front room. They also have old school lockers in the back room for the guests to keep their items safe during the event. They do have a small parking lot, but it's mostly street parking. The ballpark across the street has a parking lot but, because they're renovating the park, it was blocked off with construction equipment so that wasn't available, so the guests had to park on the main and side streets. The owner Ryan was very helpful with setting up the chairs for the wedding ceremony and tables for the reception. We booked Dandy as a wedding venue pre-covid. When it came time to change dates due to worries there and regulations they made it easy. Such a dream team and finally the reception went off this year with ease. This is a GREAT space, and the owners have obviously put their hearts into making it absolutely stunning. So many compliments from guests on the look and feel of the area, low and romantic lighting, so much character. The space is phenomenal, but the team that runs this space, corresponds, and helps with set-up, clean-up and all those steps in between, their hard work shows.

Our event went off without a hitch, seamless transitions when tables came down for dancing, the work that needed to be done simply happened. I don't plan on getting hitched again, but if I did, I would do it here again, you should too. There's...

Visited Dandy for the first time today to pick up a gem I found and purchased online. This shop is amazing and features so many treasures. It also has tons of amazing plants displayed around the store, which was delightful! I was overwhelmed in the best way possible and had to do several laps around the shop to fully appreciate and see everything.The store set up and aesthetic was amazing, the items were incredible and fairly priced. The owners Jess and Ryan are so friendly and welcoming. Ryan even gave me a tour of their venue behind the shop that they rent out. You can tell that they put a lot of love into their place.
