The park was very nice but don't go to any of the shops especially the antique shop across the street from the park the man who works there is extremely volatile and verbally abusive he actually scared me! All I did was ask him what the Mormons had to do with the town, and he verbally assaulted me I think basically because I'm white and threw me out of his store.. He said it was because of us eurotrash that came and slaughtered all of the Native American who were living there first, it was like he was trying to make me feel personally responsible for it! I will personally never go back there and I think that he should be shut down!! If he is so against us eurotrash and whites why is he making a living in that town, I sure hope that all of his proceeds are going to make reparations to the Native American tribe that used to...

If you want to learn about the history of Genoa This is a must stop!. The museum is full of a lot of fascinating historic artifacts. The park staff is very friendly and always willing to tell you fun facts. If it’s not too busy to leave and give you a personal tour. Learning about snowshoe Thompson was really fun! All the exhibits are very well organized and the captions are full of interesting facts. It’s a nice wide open space that’s closed in so if you have kids you can let...

The park was beautiful and well maintained. There were several exhibits and displays that were educational. My wife and I really enjoyed our visit. My only issue was with the staff. They were courteous and friendly, they just didn't have a lot of knowledge regarding the park and struggled to answer questions about the park and the exhibits. Overall it was well worth the trip. There is also, just across the street, the Old Courthouse Museum which was...

The Mormon Station State Historic Park in Genoa, Nevada is a great place to learn about the Mormon settlement of Nevada and the role that the Mormons played in the early development of the state. The park features a museum, a visitor center, and a reconstructed trading post. #travelbuddies #travel #usa #TWOgether #fy #fyp #fypシ #GenoaNevada #MormonStationStateHostoricPark

It’s more like a open door park with a few hardwares from pioneers time, stories about the heroes of the time and a small three rooms of museum with just 1$ ticket charge. Employees working there are nice & friendly. Free parking available and the weather was perfect at 20th of May. There’s another museum on the other side of street in two floors call, COURT MUSEUM which I recommend don’t miss it.
