It was the only place I could find that had somewhat of a novice bunny hill (seriously, they only got going to maybe 10 feet) for my boys to take the sled! Besides that, I'm imagining in the summer it's quite beautiful, historical and a somewhat calm little playground. I, of course, loved that it felt so old in a way, rustic I think is the word. Even with the cute little not over the top playground. Peaceful. Until the little one started screaming that his hands were cold....that put me back in the real very quick! Oh, and when we were leaving, like right after the sign for deer, there was a band of deer so big I had never seen before! There are 2 times I've seen so many deer-Washoe Valley and there at the Mormon Station. But those were BIG deer. These seemed to be quite young....
