Encouraged by positive feedback from friends, I decided to experience a float tank. Elizabeth provided a thorough orientation, sharing the benefits she receives from regular floating. As a first-timer, I appreciated the detailed instructions. I also see why many people say a second float can be even better. If I could go back in time, I would tell myself to pay attention to the instructions to turn off the light. After 20 minutes, I realized that complete darkness is even better than the subtle lighting. I am also grateful a friend suggested using a hair band - it would not have occurred to me. I was grateful for the spray bottle after inadvertently splashing salt water into my eyes. The gentle spray provided immediate relief, and the room temperature was perfectly balanced to prevent any discomfort. I was glad I opted for the earplugs both for the silence and for not getting salt in my ears - one less variable. I wholeheartedly recommend floating to anyone seeking mental and physical rejuvenation. The experience was profoundly relaxing, and I emerged feeling centered, clear-minded, and refreshed. In addition to the great orientation online and in-person, I was impressed by: * the level of privacy * the cleanliness * the thoughtful relaxation and contemplation supplies in the lounge area Overall I would describe my experience as magical. I would happily float again.

This was the most welcoming and private experience I’ve ever had. The people are amazing and are super informative! Was my first float session and it was incredible! Will definitely be recommending to my friends and family! Thank you so much! P.s. even if you’re not like into any of the yoga, eastern practice type stuff, it has nothing to do with that. Go in with an open mind and relax and enjoy yourself. I’ve had massages. This was nothing like that. It’s like you’re massaging yourself. And your brain. Love it. Love it. Love it!! Bless you all!

It was very easy to make an online reservation for a first-timer, they clearly have invested in their customer experience. I received the expected text and email reminders and showed up to my immersion tank appointment a little early. A very kind and helpful young woman took me through the whole experience. As a newbie I felt very comfortable.

I took some time to read the overwhelmingly positive journal entries, then disrobed and entered thd shower. I immediately had two very, very long blond hairs stuck in my mouth and I could not get them out with my soapy hands. As a bald man I am comfortable with where the hairs did not come from, and this pretty much took me out of the "zone" for the rest of the 90 minutes. I was not able to become centered again for the duration, that was so, so gross.

That is the only negative that I can blame on the staff, everything else is probably unique to me. My body temp must run cold because I was sweating into my eyes for most of the immersion. My head must float high relative to my shoulders because I was experiencing neck strain for the entire time. I tried using the Styrofoam pillow they provide but it only made my head float higher.

Anyway, nice staff, they tried hard. Hygiene was so-so, especially since I was told they never change the water, just filter it, and I already had a mouthful of hair before I was even in the tub. I probably would have given a reactionary 1 star but they sent a very nice hand written follow up card to check in with me.

Good service, was not happy with the product, clearly it is right for many people based on journal entries and reviews. Not too upset about losing 80 bucks on a new experience but a little bummed about spending 90 minutes pushing through discomfort...

I wasn't very impressed with the place considering I've been to many massage places before. The rooms are quite sterile feeling, not very cozy. My therapist did a good massage but I didn't feel a connection, definitely felt like I was just another body on the table. We had to wear masks which I understand but when we flipped over and could take our mask off, I realized the pillowcase on the face pillow was on in a way that I was breathing through the pillow case (not like a empty hole in the center) which I also understand but I simply could not breathe through it and was starting to get light headed so I had to take my face out, put my mask back on and turn my head at 90 degree angle to keep it out of face rest. My sister said the same, that she couldn't breathe face down. I couldn't relax and got a kinked neck. Not even worth getting a massage right now with all this going on in my opinion. Also the therapist never came back in to talk to me one on one after I got dressed. I would have liked to tell her these things in person but there was no connection once the massage is over. She could have told me what she noticed in my body or asked how I liked it or listened for feedback or asked me to reschedule. Plus, I'm not going to tell her all this in a waiting room full of other people. Also the receptionist sits very far away from the desk area and loudly asked what my tip amount would be. I thought that was very rude and I wasn't comfortable saying it out loud in a room full of people. That is a personal question and shouldn't even be expected (but yes I did plan to tip my therapist). So overall I will not be back. Felt very much like just a number, no personal connection and no expense were wasted on a inviting,...

In short: Very nice and capable people. I have so far gone there for massage only, but will try other services at some time. When you walk in, you are already greeted by a warm smile. Often you can call the same day and still get a massage appointment. The two therapists who have worked on my constantly tight muscles are very knowledgeable and have a good sense for how much pressure they can use before causing discomfort (they still ask regularly if the pressure is good, and I recommend you give them an honest answer for your benefit). My first visit there was because of one of the minor muscles on my back that had suddenly become painfully tight and would not loosen up after a week of stretching and relaxing. I had even gone to a spa for a massage - big mistake since they tend to be trained in relaxation massage, not therapeutic massage! But at the Wellness Center, the therapist found the bad muscle with ease and worked it all out. Already at the end of the appointment, everything felt a lot better and more relaxed, the pain was eased significantly and distributed into a bigger area which made moving (and healing) a lot easier. The next day I was good as new again. I keep coming back because in my work I am bound to get tight muscles, especially around the neck and shoulder causing headaches, and they can definitely take care of that. I have yet to run into a person there who was not honestly friendly. Their prices are fair (in my opinion), and as a frequent visitor you can save some money by becoming a member - which I will probably do the next time I'm there. Highly recommendable - both getting a massage in general and...
