I stopped in here for a quick dinner bite on a Wednesday night because I was really craving a burger. When I first walked in there were 3 people in behind the register, so I walked up to order food. I was literally the only one standing there and probably stood there for a good two minutes before the girl asked do you want to order food? No I’m just standing at the register for no reason🙄. After she sort of rudely took my order I went and found my own seat and waited. My food was out in short order and everything tasted good. Well seasoned and very good portions. About 30 minutes before close a lady and 4 kids walked in looking to order dinner. The gentleman told her unfortunately the kitchen was closed already. She proceeded to go off on him about the kitchen being closed 30 minutes early, when the restaurant hours listed said 9pm I believe. The lady proceeded to tell him off about how to run a restaurant and blah blah blah. She asked to speak to the manager and he said I am the manager😂. Anyways after a few minutes longer of her telling him off and asking for corporates number she left. After he returned from the back room I praised him for his patience and not returning her aggression. I think he handled the situation perfectly (I come from a retail and hospitality management background, so I’ve had my share of karen’s). Overall good experience and good food. I would love to come back for a milkshake because when I went to order one after the lady left. He said the kitchen being closed included the milkshake’s.

The staff was super friendly and helpful with suggestions. We were greeted when we walked in and it was open seating. Everything on the menu looked great. We ended up getting the nachos with chicken, short rib tacos, cheese pizza, tenders and Mac and cheese for the 5 of us. The nachos were delicious and full of cheesy goodness. You could fold a chip in half and make a taco if you wanted. The short rib tacos were good. They were missing some kind of sauce as they were a little plain even using the salsa. The kids devoured the cheese pizza. They loved it!! As chicken tender connoisseurs the kids thought they were ok. The ff must have been good because one of my daughters doesn't eat ff from just anywhere. I didn't get much feedback about the Mac and cheese only that it was good. It looked really good but I didn't try it. The kids also got some of the shakes which were a hit. They do have a food stomach and a dessert stomach. Lol. I also had a saki bloody Mary. I like saki and bloody Marys so I figured why not. It didn't disappoint. The thick cut bacon garnish was soooo good. I would order a side of bacon or two and just eat that. Or maybe throw it on a tortilla and make a taco. The bottom line is you have to come and try this place. You will not be disappointed in the food or service.

5 stars across the board the for food, menu options, service/friendliness, and the atmosphere! Stopped here on our way out of town, just looking for something close to Minnehaha Falls. So glad we found this place! They have so many options, with a lot of unique and delicious flavor combinations. You can tell a lot of thought went into creating the menu. On top of this, there are 3 different vegan protein options that are used in a variety of dishes. I ended up going with the raspberry brie chicken sandwich which was an incredible balance of a lot of different flavors! Husband got the “Sunnies”, fried sunfish pieces, which were also a hit. Lots of yummy drink options and the big milkshakes also looked like a lot of fun! The space itself is so cute, especially the pup-friendly patio! Unfortunately we are from out of state so we won’t be be able to make it back soon, but will definitely make a point to stop by next time we are in the area!

Update stopped in here Monday October 22 after enjoying a long hike and bike ride. Immediately upon walking in I wasn’t greeted was told I could sit wherever which is all fine. I proceed to sit down and wait 10 whole minutes before a server even comes over to me to tell me I have to order at the counter. I’m not sure if it was my skin color if my server just didn’t like me but everyone else around me was getting tables service in the server was bringing food and water to them. I get told when I’m ready to order. I will have to walk up and pay for my order then sit down. OK not a problem. What is a problem is asking for a tip when your servers don’t even serve what’s the point it’s embarrassing for a restaurant in general what’s the point of having two servers on if they’re not going to bring me my water or refill my water for me that’s. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they told me I had to cook my own food and walk it to the table myself.

22 dollars for a salad with chicken and some of the most god awful restaurant service I’ve ever seen. You guys are a joke I highly implore you guys to come to my restaurant and see what actual service is supposed to look like. Why be a server if you don’t even wanna bring somebody their water or food but still demand tip this had to be one of the most pathetic experiences I have ever had. Downright pathetic service and pathetic food. I will not be back...
