Usually I have an awesome experience at my local Miramar target but this timeI was taken back by how rudely I was treated at the customer service desk by not only than the manager helping out there. On 8/9/ 19at around 10:20 pm I went to pick up the school supplies I had ordered online for my kids school. This idea I thought was genius as a busy mom of 3. Anyways , I proceeded to give the manager my text confirmation and she brought out my supplies.I counted them and mentioned to her I had purchased 25 items... in a a very rude way she told me well that means target didn’t have the items. Ok, so I simply asked her if I would be charged for it because I paid for it online. I asked do I get a refund? Very rudely she responded no. I didn’t understand that the company puts a temporary hold on the money until you sign for the items you received at the counter. Of course another staff member had to explain that to me because this manager didn’t know how to explain this to me. Anyways , I have NEVER been treated so rudely than tonight. Usually I let it go but I was walking to my car thinking how a person this rude can work as a manager with the public. Very disappointed. Read moreI must say the purpose for my visit was not for pleasure. I received a gift that was still returnable so tried to exchange first with the digital return bar code. Typically Target is awesome; however I went to the Target in Miramar parkway west and it was a an extremely negative experience. It was the lack of training the employees had. It was for me shocking. I was left to have to deal with exchange online and then was redirected to go back to the store. Now the online customer service gave me detailed instructions and how to proceed with my return. Long story short I decided to go to Pembroke Pines East Target that is out of my way and I had the most pleasurable experience with the manager Trevor Johnson. He understands customer service 💯percent. I would rather go out of my way to be treated with respect at the highest level and on point customer service that you receive. So thank you Pembroke Lakes Target 🎯 staff. You made me a happy customer. FYI I was able to return my item and purchase a new 1. And I also purchased GOOD FELLOW T 👕s. Good luck. From the moment I entered the store, it was clear that the staff was either poorly trained or completely indifferent to customer needs. I approached an employee for assistance, only for her to walk right past me. When I said excuse me to catch her attention, she looked at me and kept walking. I ended up finding what I needed and when I finally reached the checkout, the cashier was absolutely terrible and dismissive, did not acknowledge me, just told me to take my items out of the basket, obviously annoyed my presence. Mind you, I was only on line because the self checkout was closed. Anyway, she gave me the silent treatment the whole time, bagged my items incorrectly, did not announce my total, and when I went to grab my bags to end the misery, she grabbed my receipt and held it out without so much as a glance.
