Making an appointment was easy. The person on the phone quoted a price ($45 per bedroom and $25 for the hallway) that seemed incredibly affordable. He assured me they could do the whole cleaning while we were at work - we could just give the technician the door code. He told me the carpet would take 3 hours to dry.
Fast forward to today - the day of our cleaning. The technician called and told me he was almost there. I gave him the door code and also my husband's cell number and asked him to please call my husband from then on out, since I was in meetings all day. A few minutes later, he called me again because he couldn't figure out the door code. We opened it remotely. I asked him again to please call my husband if he needed anything.
Twenty minutes later, he called me again to ask where I was, because the door wasn't open. I told him it I wasn't there because his office told me I didn't need to be present, but the door was unlocked, just open it. And please, please call my husband if he needed anything else.
Five minutes later, he called me again because he didn't know which rooms to do. I told him to clean the only three rooms with carpet (the rest of the house has hard floors). Then he said he didn't understand, so my husband had to leave work and drive home to show him. There were then four more calls (always to my cell phone, despite repeated asks for him to call my husband) and my husband had to drive home a second time to pay in person.
When it was all over, the cleaned carpets looked absolutely no better than before, and the final bill was literally THREE TIMES more than the initial price we were quoted. And then the technician told us the carpets would take 6 hours to dry. I'm home six hours later and they are still absolutely sopping wet.
Never. Again.
UPDATE - Following this review, La Paz reached out to make things right. I've rarely had a professional conversation that took such a humble, listening posture in response to my concerns.
